Scenes from around the farm lately 🌶🧄
The greenhouse is full of garlic and onions, the Education Squash Arch is filling out and producing melons for summer camp, we're harvesting our first big batches of heirloom tomatoes and carmen peppers, and the high tunnel and flower field are looking extra lush!
Don't forget to stop by and see us at Muskegon Farmer's Market tomorrow! We also have 1️⃣ spot open in our final session of summer camp starting next Wednesday!

Thank you to our wonderful Trinity Health Dietetics Team for helping make this week's batch of flower bouquets! We had such a fun night! Tomorrow 30 bouquets will be donated to the hospital to brighten up patient rooms 💐🌸

It's hard to believe we're already on Week 17 of Farm Share! Every week it seems like the shares get more and more colorful and vibrant. We still have slots open to join Farm Share in the Fall, or you can find us at Muskegon Farmer's Market this Saturday, August 2!

We ❤️ the Library! Thank you Muskegon Area District Library for hosting us yesterday for another edition of our Make a Great Bouquet workshop! It was so fun watching the community make beautiful bouquets to donate to the hospital. 25 bouquets are on their way to brighten up patient rooms this afternoon! Libraries are amazing places and we loved this collaboration💐📚

Thank you to our friends and neighbors from Muskegon Public Schools 21st CCLC Impact Afterschool Program for visiting the farm every Tuesday this summer! Each week we had a different Muskegon school take a field trip to the farm to see, touch, and taste the veggies growing this time of year. We love getting to share the farm when it's the most abundant, even when school isn't in session!

We had the BEST time at The Farm yesterday evening with our bouquet workshop! It was so much fun watching everyone get creative and build amazing bouquets, each prettier than the last. Every participant was able to take home a bouquet and make 3 to donate to the hospital. That's 42 bouquets that are in patient rooms thanks to these lovely ladies.💐

We had so much fun at Session 2 of Sprouts Mini Camp last week!

It was a busy three days around the farm: our amazing future farmers got their hands dirty everyday planting seeds, seedlings, making flower bouquets, and caring for the education hoop house. They harvested lots of produce and packed a mini farm share, then used their harvest to make fresh-pressed juice and pickles the next day. They did such a great job tasting new foods, trying new skills, and sharing and using teamwork with new friends!

Our third and final session of Sprouts Mini Camp is happening August 6-8.
