⚾🐾 What a fantastic night at the game on Saturday, June 14!

We were thrilled to see so many supporters join us — and a special thank you to our amazing puppy raisers who brought our service dog puppies to enjoy the fun. The pups were a hit with the crowd!

A highlight of the evening? Jim and Bravo took the mound and threw out the first pitch! 👏💙

Tomorrow, Saturday, June 14, is shaping up to be an unforgettable night! Join us at the Lake Elsinore Storm game for All Abilities Night, featuring service dogs, baseball, a rodeo, and so much more!

🍪🐾 It’s Peanut Butter Cookie Day! 🐾🍪

Let’s be honest… the moment you open the peanut butter jar, you’ve got four paws watching your every move. 👀🐶

Today, celebrate the goodness of peanut butter cookies—and don’t forget your furry taste testers! 🐕💛

Whip up a batch of dog-safe peanut butter cookies with just 4 ingredients:
🥜 3/4 cup Unsweetened peanut butter (no xylitol!)
🌾 2 cups Whole wheat flour
🌾1 cup oats
💦1 1/4-1 1/2 cup hot water

Mix and roll as you would any other peanut butter cookie. Bake at 350°F for about 15 minutes, let them cool, and share the joy—just maybe not the whole batch! 😉

Humans get cookies. Dogs get cookies. Everyone wins. 🎉

Join Us Tomorrow at All Abilities Night!

Tomorrow, June 10, we’ll be at the Lake Elsinore Storm’s All Abilities Night! Look for our table on the concourse, where we’ll be sharing our mission and connecting with the community.

Being part of events like this is so important to us, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to participate. Gates open at 5:05 PM, and the game starts at 6:05 PM. If you’re at the game, be sure to stop by and say hello!

The first Saturday of each month is National Play Outside Day. The first Saturday is June is National Trails Day. National Trails Day recognizes the incredible benefits trails provide for recreation and exposure nature.
Brian and Champ became a team in 2024. Brian loves the outdoors but struggled to get out to do the things he loved. Brian explains "Having a service dog has dramatically impacted my daily life for the better. Besides assisting me with daily tasks, Champ has given me the confidence to live a normal life. Having a service dog has made recreational activities I truly enjoyed before both possible and enjoyable by giving me the ability and confidence to be able to do those things again. "

On this National Play Outside Day and National Trails Day, take some time to get outside and explore a local trail.

The 2025 National Veterans Golden Games were held May 30-June 5 in Memphis, TN.
Inspired by programs that promote healthy aging, fitness and recreation, VA initiated the National Veterans Golden Age Games in 1985 to underscore the preventive and therapeutic value of sports medicine for older Veterans who receive health care at VA facilities. The mission was clear—encourage physical activity through competitive sports for positive outcomes and better health and wellness.

Wendy and her service dog, Leila attended the Golden Games and performed very well. Wendy and Leila have been together for 4 years. In that time, they have traveled across the country and participated in a variety of events of all kinds. We love hearing stories of the things our dogs get to see and experience with their handler and the activities the handlers can engage in because they have a service dog.

Thank you, Wendy for sharing your adventures. You two are inspirational and great evidence of the major life changing impact a service dog can have.

Remember: if you're opening cheese, the Cheese Tax is non-negotiable. Payment must be made in snacks to the nearest pup immediately. You will have to understand that moderation is key, so don't let them guilt you into giving them too much.
They don’t make the rules… they just collect. 😄🐶
