Meet Mr. Ari! ❤️🐾

Mom told us that nobody had ever been able to trim his face because he just wasn’t comfortable with it. But Miss Madi was determined to show him that grooming doesn’t have to be scary!

She took her time, showed him patience, gave him lots of love, and worked at HIS pace while gently teaching him that it’s okay. And look at him now! 🥹 Here he is, trusting Miss Madi enough to let her trim that handsome little face!

It’s moments like these that remind us grooming is about SO much more than a haircut. It’s about building trust, creating confidence, and making sure every pup feels safe and loved.

Oh, this girl may be small, but she has one BIG, beautiful soul! 🥹 Just look at that sweet face!

Miss Dixie is one SMART cookie! She already knows how to sit, lay down, roll over, and she’s even got some agility smarts up her sleeve! 🤩 This girl is athletic, full of personality, and VERY eager to show off what she knows.

But what really stole our hearts? Her LOVE! Dixie is so incredibly affectionate and just wants to soak up all the attention and lovings she can get. She’s got brains, beauty, and a whole lot of heart!

Miss Michele had this handsome boy out in the play yard, and I just couldn’t resist that sweet face! 🥹 So, of course, we had to stop and give him some lovings and a little spa day of his own!

Sammy did absolutely FANTASTIC! He is just the sweetest boy, and can we talk about how handsome he is?! 😍 This guy is going to make someone an incredible best friend!

He’s VERY smart, super food motivated (🤪🤭), and eager to learn. With a little love, patience, and some yummy treats, we think Sammy has all the makings of the perfect family companion!

Now, Haven family, let’s get to work! ❤️ We want to see this handsome boy leave the shelter with his very own family!

❤️ Our Grand Strand Humane Society Sweethearts! ❤️

We spent the day Friday at Grand Strand Humane Society, loving on some pretty special babies, and we wanted to share a few of the sweet faces we got to meet! 🐾

First up is Miss Casey! 🥹❤️ We absolutely adore this girl, but our hearts are so sad to see her still waiting for her forever family. This gorgeous, sweet girl deserves the absolute BEST home!

We think she may have a little Rottie and Shepherd in her, and she is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She’s playful, full of personality, incredibly cuddly, and just an all-around sweetheart. She has so much love to give, and we cannot understand how someone hasn’t scooped her up yet!

We don’t want to visit again and see sweet Casey still waiting for someone to choose her. 🥺💔 Somewhere out there is a family who needs this girl just as much as she needs them!

🐾❤️ Miss Madi’s Pups of the Day! ❤️🐾

Oh, what a wonderful crew we had today! Every pup has their own little personality, and we just love getting to know them! 🥰

🚚 Mr. Ari — Mom told us that no one has ever been able to trim his face! Well, Miss Madi put her patience, trust, and lots of love to work, and this handsome boy was putty in her hands! He did AMAZING! We are so proud of him! He was our handsome little Walmart delivery driver! 😂

🦸‍♂️ Mr. Jax — How handsome is this boy?! He feels SO much better after his deshedding treatment. He was such a good sport, and we could probably make a whole other Jax out of the undercoat we got out of him! 🤣 He was our handsome superhero!

🤠 Miss KC — This sweet girl needed a little time to warm up, but Miss Madi took the time to build that trust, and they became the sweetest little team! Here’s an amazing fun fact: Miss KC was rescued by Kenny Chesney in Puerto Rico, and her mama adopted her 8 years ago! How AWESOME is that?! We absolutely love hearing stories like hers! ❤️ She was our beautiful cowgirl!

🤡 Miss Kara — Just a sweet, gentle soul! We absolutely adore this girl. She was such a sweetheart and looked absolutely precious as our beautiful little clown! 🥰

Every pup has a story, and we are so thankful we get to be a little part of theirs! Thank you, mamas and dads, for trusting us with your babies! ❤️

🤠🐾 Mrs. Kristina’s Pup of the Day! 🐾❤️

Today we had just ONE special pup to spotlight, and that was our handsome little cowboy, Mr. Rumley! 🤠😍

This sweet boy is an absolute cuddle love bug! Today was his very first time seeing the FRONT of The Haven, and let’s just say… he approves! 😂❤️ He soaked up all the lovings and was the sweetest little cowboy around!

We only had one pup today because Mrs. Kristina had a special mission… we headed over to the Grand Strand Humane Society to give some puppies some much-needed baths, cuddles, and love! 🐶❤️ Sometimes our hearts take us outside the salon, too!

🎃🐾 MAT MAX’S FINAL DAY OF MISCHIEF! 🐾🎃

Well, Haven Family… all good mischief must come to an end! 🥹❤️

For his grand finale, Mat Max decided to put his mischievous little paws to GOOD use! 🐶❤️ Today, he’s helping us get ready to head over to Grand Strand Humane Society to wash some precious puppies, give lots of love, and hopefully make their day a little brighter! 🛁🐾🥰

After a month full of silly surprises, sneaky shenanigans, and keeping Mrs. Kristina on her toes, Mat Max decided there was no better way to end his adventures than by spreading a little kindness to some furry friends who need it most! ❤️

Mat Max wants to give a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who followed along with his daily mischief, laughed at his crazy antics, and showed him so much love! 🥹💕 He’s had an absolute BLAST causing chaos around The Haven Grooming Lounge, and he’s already dreaming up what kind of trouble he can get into NEXT YEAR! 🤪🐾

Oh my goodness, what a sweet, adorable crew we had today! These babies brought all the cuteness, personality, and a little Halloween mischief to The Haven! ❤️

👑 Miss Nola was truly a princess today! But don’t let that pretty crown fool you… she defeated the dragon (AKA the dryer 😂🐉) ALL ON HER OWN! Somebody give this girl a medal! 🤪

🧙‍♀️ Miss Patches was our precious little candy cane witch! Just look at how adorable she was! She definitely put a spell on us with all that sweetness! 🍭❤️

🤠 Miss Lucy is here to remind everyone that personal attention is NOT optional! 😂 This little cowgirl will absolutely let you know when she’s not getting enough lovings. And honestly, who could say no to that sweet face?!

🧛‍♂️ Mr. Teddy was our handsome vampire today! Don’t let the fangs fool you, this boy is nothing but a big teddy bear! He absolutely loves being up on the grooming table and is such a good boy for us! ❤️

Every pup has their own little personality, and getting to love on them, watch their confidence grow, and send them home looking their best is the BEST part of what we do! 🥰

These are some truly wonderful people, and our hearts are with the family as John prepares for open-heart surgery today. We are praying for a successful surgery, strength for John, a smooth recovery, and comfort and peace for his entire family during this difficult time. ❤️

💚Mayday Alert for the Dimino family💚

Conway, SC - Firefighter/EMT John Dimino with Horry County Fire Rescue in South Carolina experienced recurring upper respiratory infections over the past two years. During this time, he also began experiencing unusual symptoms, including shortness of breath during physical activity, severe fatigue, and dizziness. Concerned about his health, John visited his primary care physician, who detected a possible heart murmur and referred him to a cardiologist. After several months of extensive testing, doctors discovered a sinus of Valsalva fistula and a ventricular septal defect. His medical team determined that both conditions require open-heart surgery, which is scheduled for Thursday, October 29.

This unexpected diagnosis has brought significant challenges and uncertainty to John and his family. Following surgery, he is expected to remain hospitalized for approximately one week. His recovery is then estimated to take four to six months, requiring an extended period away from work. During this time, John and his family will face the challenges of managing his recovery while adjusting to the financial strain of his condition. Let’s get him the support he needs.
