Exciting weekend for me and Barrett! ❤️

Whoomp! There HE is! 😍

Barrett and I attended the NADD Regional Qualifier at our home dock, A Dogs Way Inlet Flyers this weekend and brought home quite the haul! I will absolutely never get tired of bragging about my little gravel pit puppy who has beaten all of the odds and turned out to be the BEST dog! So without further ado, here are the weekend accolades…

Dry Land Dock Diving practice to work on toy tracking for bigger and longer jumps!

Barrett has been working so hard since we started this training program and I am super excited to see how far he will go when we can transfer this behavior to the dock!

Great tips from our friend Belle! ❤️🐾

Hey you! Yes, you. Bell wants to know if you have done your pre-4th of July safety check for your dogs? Have you checked your fences and gates? Any gaps or weak points or anything broken? Your leashes, collars, and harnesses? Are they in good condition with no fraying or cuts (that can cause weakness) on them? And what about your dogs’ tags? Are they legible with correct and current info on them? More dogs go missing on the 4th of July than at any other time. Don’t be a statistic.

tags are our go-to. I love the QR code option because even if we are away from home, I can easily update the info online. Code RLYDOGS15.

P.S. if your dog needs meds, contact your vet ASAP. Don’t wait until the day before.

🎉 CLASS ANNOUCEMENT🎉

My next AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class is now enrolling!
This 6-week program meets once per week and is designed to build a strong foundation of good manners, confidence, and social skills during your puppy’s most important developmental stage. Using positive reinforcement, you and your puppy will work on essential behaviors like sit, down, coming when called, leash walking, and polite interactions with people and other dogs, while also focusing on socialization and responsible ownership.

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program is open to all puppies, including both purebreds and mixed breeds. Puppies who are not registered with the AKC can still earn the S.T.A.R. Puppy award and receive a certificate. Puppies with an AKC, PAL, or AKC Canine Partners number can earn S.T.A.R. Puppy as an official AKC title—making it your dog’s very first training title.

The first class is a humans-only session (no puppies) where we will review testing materials, class expectations, and training methods. The final class is dedicated to completing the S.T.A.R. Puppy evaluation.

📍Where: Murrells Inlet Veterinary Hospital

🗓️When: Tuesday’s for 6 weeks starting July 21

⏰Time: 6:30PM

Requirements: Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old and no older than 1 year at the start of class and be up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations (proof of vaccines is required).

This class is the perfect starting point for raising a well-mannered, confident dog while preparing for future training goals like the Canine Good Citizen program.

This class is limited to 4 teams, 2 teams are required to hold a session.
