Let's face it: we all get caught up in our days and are usually running around from place to place, thinking what's next? Well, our cats will definitely let us know when we need to take a break, and just breathe.

Cats can become stressed with a stranger in the home, so why make them feel that way? Everything that I do is to make them feel better, not to cause problems. Any of the cats I show videos of are either my own cats, which is most of the time, or cats that I work with that are up for adoption. These are cats that already know me and love to be around me all the time.

I hurt my knees yesterday, and also somehow pulled one of my hamstrings on Sunday. RayRay came running over to help. Normally he cuddles on my lap, but this time, he purposely cuddled on my knees, instantly purring. The vibrations from his purrs immediately started to help my knees.

Crystals are another fabulous tool that can help not only ourselves, but our cats, too. Ever curious, they will come to check them out, rub their faces all over them, lay with them, and will even play with them.

Slow introductions are always best, but there are those rare cats that immediately love everyone. RayRay is definitely one of those rare ones. We call him our "Welcoming Committee". When we first brought Juju home, she was so scared she ran and hid under my bed. RayRay ran after her, ran and grabbed his favorite toy, brought it to the bed, and called for her to come out to play with his toy. That was 5 1/2 years ago, and they've been best friends ever since.

I made a whole color therapy blanket set for my cats, but it can be done with different things you already have - some of your clothing, blankets, toys, etc.

When we don't feel good, our cats can actually show the same symptoms. Taking care of ourselves is definitely a must, and, if we let them, our cats will help to take care of us, too.
