Poor Phoebe, she's tried on 3 or 4 different occasions to get the rest of the horses to the back pasture. Every time she is resigned to coming back up to the front. The flood waters don't phase her at all.

Last night I went out to feed the horses. Paloma was literally covered from ear to hoof in mud. 🤦‍♀️ This morning it was all dry so I brushed it all out. Tonight I went out to feed the horses and there was Paloma...again...🙄 At least it's not as bad as last night. 🤷‍♀️🤣

When I got Taffy as a two year old, I knew it would be a long wait to see what she would produce. I wasn't disappointed. Sirius was born instantly curious about everything, which kept his knew momma on her toes. But Taffy proved to be a natural and a very good mom. Sirius has inherent a fantastic disposition and conformation from both his parents. He continues to be a confident, inquisitive, and a sweet boy even though he's growing up too quickly for my liking. 🥹 This boy is already measuring at 14hh, so we know he's going to be a big boy. I can't wait to see what his future holds.

Almost exactly 2 years after Tirzah gave me that beautiful homozygous filly, this spunky, sweet homozygous c**t was born on St. Patrick's Day. This guy has a wonderful future ahead of him and I can't wait to see him mature!

Three years ago I saw a longtime dream become a reality. It was both exciting and terrifying as I stepped into the unknown. After 358 days of waiting, Tirzah's first foal was born...and she was also my first. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen and it truly was an emotional moment for me. She went through an "ugly duckling" phase as a two year old and really made me question my thinking. 😅 But I think she's finally starting to grow out of it. She's got a few years of growing and filling out to do, but her personality has remained steadfast and I sure do love her.
