How Do Dogs Behave After Boarding?
After picking up your pup from our boarding facility, you might notice they seem unusually tired or lethargic, we hear this alot!
Many people find their dogs are very tired after staying at our boarding facility for a few days or more, otherwise known as “dog fatigue”.
Dog fatigue is not a disorder or illness, but rather a normal response to not only being out of it's routine, but also because of all the mental and physical stimulation.
Between the endless new smells to inspect, the hours a day of outside play time with our staff and in some case with other furry friends, and the social interaction with other pups around them, they understandably get tired.
As common as this is, your fur babies are normally back to their normal selves within 24hrs of rest and relaxation.
Remember, each dog is unique, and their recovery time may vary.
But with your love, support and plenty of rest, they will be back to their happy, energetic selves in no time!
