We’re excited to welcome Dashin’ Dogs to the Chamber family! This mobile, all-season dog gym is bringing a one-of-a-kind experience to the Twin Lakes area with their air-conditioned van equipped with Firepaw® slatmills—powered by paws, not plugs!

With safety as a top priority, every Dashin’ Dogs Coach is Red Cross certified in dog first aid, giving pet owners peace of mind while their pups exercise and have fun.

Let’s talk de shed treatments!

When we do deshed treatments, it does not stop shedding. This is a common misconception.

Natural Process:
All dogs shed to some extent. De-shedding treatments remove loose, dead hair that is ready to come out, but new hair will continue to grow and fall out naturally.

Not a One-Time Solution:
De-shedding is a management strategy, not a permanent fix. You'll need a consistent grooming schedule, often every 4-6 weeks, to maintain results.

Effectiveness Varies:
The amount of hair a dog sheds and the effectiveness of a de-shed treatment can differ based on the dog's breed and coat type.

Shedding Cycle:
The de-shedding process removes the hair that has already reached the end of its life cycle and is about to fall out. New hair is constantly growing and going through its own cycles.

Initial Post-Grooming Shed:
Some dogs shed more intensely for a few days after a deshedding treatment as the coat continues to release loose hair that wasn't fully removed.

If your high energy dog is tired after their appointment, it’s very likely that Citrine was your groomer 😂

Citrine uses playtime before the groom to get all of that energy out to make for a more productive grooming session. This is especially helpful with puppies just as much as high energy adults. It also helps with bonding and comfort. Ebony was so relaxed after that he laid down and slept for most of his groom! We love what we do ❤️

Mr. Mason decided to take an adventure through some sticker bushes and briar patches. His mom called us to the rescue! With lots of patience, brushing, and a prayer or two, Mikayla was able to save his coat without having to shave him down and successfully completed a full groom!

It’s a shame that we have to even make this post but here we are…

Missed and same-day cancellations are not only disrespectful of our groomers’ time — they significantly hurt us financially.

Many of our groomers commute over an hour each way because they truly love what they do and are dedicated to giving your pets the best possible experience. When appointments are not canceled with at least 24-hours’ notice — or are simply no-showed — that spot cannot be refilled, resulting in a direct loss of income to them and wasted resources for our business.

To protect our staff and ensure we can continue operating efficiently, a $25 non-refundable deposit is now required when booking grooming appointments. This amount will be applied toward your service, but will be forfeited in the event of a no-show or last-minute cancellation.

Thank you for understanding, respecting our team, and supporting the groomers and staff who care ao much for your pets.
