Since its getting cold, I have so many people wanting me to take in outdoor strays. I dont have the room to take in every stray. I do rescue out of my house. No building or even fosters. Thats why I try so hard to get free winter shelters out to people.
I suggest making an appt to get them fixed if they arent. The Knox Co Humane Society is the cheapest around! You cannot beat their prices! Then call and email every person you know: co-workers, church members, neighbors, family, friends... explain the situation and see if they can take even as a barn cat. Make a post with a bio and good clear pictures and post on different groups, not just your own page. I can share it too. If all that fails, get them a warm shelter, heated or with straw and keep them fed and watered. There are pet pantries around or ask me and I can provide a bag of food every now and then. If possible I always suggest deworming and putting flea treatment like Revolution or even Frontline or Advantage which are non prescription. Dont use Hartz brand or the cheap ones. They do more harm than good.
