It's been rainy, muddy, and gross outside! Just a reminder we still give baths! We make it easy on you, just schedule an appointment, drop off your pup, come back a couple hours later and they are clean, dry, fluffy, and ready to go! No mess for you! We can also trim nails and clean ears!
**All pets are required to be up to date on rabies, dhpp, and bordetella**

UPDATE!!!!

Hawthorne is now again allowing us to call and get an updated vaccination certificate! Yay!! But if your pet is not up to date we will be calling you 2 weeks prior to remind you that those vaccines need to be updated before your stay. And unfortunately if they are not updated by your stay we will be unable to keep your pet.
If we do call you 2 weeks prior please be sure to call Hawthorne as soon as possible to get an appointment as they could be booked out.

📢📢Important Notice!!!⚠️⚠️

If you are a client of HAWTHORNE ANIMAL CLINIC, please be aware that YOU are now required to provide 4Wags proof of your own pet's vaccine records.
We have always been able to call in the past and get this information to keep from our clients having one less hassle to deal with when preparing to travel out of town. As I do with all veterinarians and never having an issue with this. But I have been informed today that we are no longer allowed to call and ask this information.
If we have not received an updated copy of vaccine records from you 2 weeks prior to your stay we will be calling you to notify you that we need a copy. You can send me a picture through our page or you may email a copy to us at [email protected], or drop it by anytime during open hours. If we have not received this vaccine record by the time of your stay, unfortunately we will not be able to keep your pet without that proof.
I am so sorry for this inconvenience! I am bummed that we are no longer allowed to provide this service for our Hawthorne clients anymore.😢

Just a reminder!! We offer basic grooming here at our shop! Baths, nail trims, clean + pluck ears, a**l glands, and mini grooms!! We can also do these services while your pet is boarding with us! Kelly's K9 Grooming has moved into her new building at 324 Pearl Street. All appointments made with Amanda will need to go to her building. WE ARE GOING TO BE OFFERING MINI GROOMS NOW! 🐕 ✂️

There is also going to be a slight increase in bath and nail trim prices as well. This will all begin on March 17, 2025. These are by appointment only. Please call 812-838-5880 to schedule your pet! 💞

Our hours today will be 8am to 12pm and then 3pm to 4pm. Our driveway is not cleared but our building is warm!

This is some nasty weather to start the new year! ❄️❄️❄️
But we are all doing fine here. We lost power for a couple hours this morning but we are up and going again. It's nice and toasty inside!

We will be changing our hours a bit today. We are closing at 12 and will return from 3-4 this afternoon! You can always call and leave a message and we will get back to you ASAP!
