TEDDI IS HOME ❤️‍🩹

After her immiticide stay, Teddi is back where she belongs for the next stage of her recovery: safely at home with Gloria and the family who has shown her what love feels like.

The handwritten medication schedule taped to the wall tells only part of the story.

Multiple medications. Carefully timed doses. Close monitoring. Quiet rest. Foster parents reorganizing their days around giving one sick dog every possible chance to heal.

This is what medical fostering looks like behind the sweet photos.

Gloria and her husband originally began fostering for NETRO, and Let Love Live was fortunate enough to “borrow” them when Gloria offered to help Teddi. They hope to continue fostering throughout retirement, opening their small home to one animal after another who needs somewhere safe to heal.

They love Teddi tremendously. Gloria recently mentioned that, in a couple of months, Teddi may finally be healthy enough to begin looking for her permanent family.

Her husband’s response?

“I don’t want to talk about that.” 🙄🥺

Not because they plan to adopt her—but because loving a foster deeply and then letting them go is never easy.

That is the extraordinary gift of fostering: loving an animal as your own while knowing your goodbye will make room to save another.

For now, Teddi’s only job is to heal. Please continue keeping her in your thoughts, and help us cover her veterinary care by donating through the link below with TEDDI in the note.

EIGHTY-EIGHT LIVES ARE TAKING FLIGHT TODAY. ✈️🐾

Today is Dog Is My CoPilot flight day, and this incredible collaborative transport has 88 animals on board.

Eighty-eight individual lives.

Eighty-eight animals leaving behind overcrowding and uncertainty.

Eighty-eight new chapters beginning because rescue organizations chose to work together instead of allowing county lines and state borders to determine which animals receive a chance.

The footage from UCAPS shows what rescue looks like in motion: crates lined across the tarmac, volunteers carefully loading each passenger and an airplane preparing to carry them toward receiving partners, greater adoption opportunities and the families waiting somewhere ahead.

This plane did not fill itself.

Every passenger required coordination, veterinary care, paperwork, preparation and people willing to show up. Today is possible because of Dog Is My CoPilot, the pilots and ground crews, UCAPS, participating rescue partners, veterinary teams, fosters, volunteers, transport coordinators and donors working together for one shared purpose.

Get them there. Give them a chance. Let them live.

Safe travels, precious passengers. There is a whole new life waiting on the other side of this flight. ❤️

SPOTLIGHT SATURDAY: MEET ERICA, DIRECTOR OF FELINE QUALITY CONTROL 🐱📋

Today, we’re recognizing one of the bravest—and possibly most judgmental—members of the Let Love Live team.

Meet Erica, our official cat tester.

During carefully supervised introductions, Erica helps us observe how dogs and puppies respond to a cat. Does the dog remain calm? Respect her space? Become overly excited? Erica helps provide valuable information so we can make safer, better-informed placement decisions for everyone involved.

Her qualifications include:

🐾 Remaining cool under pressure
🐾 Reading the room better than most humans
🐾 Maintaining exceptionally high professional standards
🐾 Delivering performance reviews with one look
🐾 Looking adorable while doing very serious work

These assessments are only one part of determining whether a dog may live successfully with cats, but Erica’s work helps adopters better understand which animals could be the right fit for their families.

She may be small, but her contribution is enormous.

Please give our brave little employee a well-deserved round of applause in the comments! 👏❤️

TURN YOUR SOUND ON.

This is what heartworm disease sounds like.

This is Teddi at night—coughing, struggling to settle and unable to find a comfortable position because a severe heartworm infection is causing so much distress in her lungs and heart.

Heartworm disease is not merely a positive result written on a veterinary chart.

It is this sound.

It is a frightened dog unable to rest.

It is permanent damage being done inside the body while the animal suffers through something that could have been prevented.

For two months, Teddi has needed antibiotics, breathing treatments, cough medicine and preventatives just to prepare her body for treatment. Her complete treatment plan includes three immiticide injections, hospitalization and the necessary medications and supplies—a total of $1,590.51.

Yesterday, we asked you to help us fight for Teddi. Today, we are asking you to listen.

This is why she needs us.

Please donate through the link below and write TEDDI in the note. If you cannot donate, share this video so someone who can help will hear her.

UPDATE

Titus County Sheriff’s Dept sent deputies on site to do a welfare check. They were able to contact the owners. This is a great example of when you see something, say something. If we had not been notified by someone in that area about this girl not having access to water, the dog would still be suffering. Now the owners know that everyone is watching to make sure there’s water for her. And FYI, unless there is a confiscation of animals by law enforcement, it is illegal for us to go on a property and take an animal. That’s why calling in neglect and abuse is so important. Never stay silent.

102+ DEGREES. TIED ON A SHORT TETHER. NO WATER IN SIGHT.

This is not pet ownership. This is suffering—and it demands immediate intervention.

This severely emaciated female dog was found tied outside in Talco in temperatures exceeding 102 degrees. Every rib is visible. Her hips protrude from her body. She has been reduced to skin and bone, yet she is still tethered outside without any visible water.

There may also be puppies on the property, although that has not yet been confirmed. If she is nursing in this condition and in this heat, the urgency is unimaginable.

An animal does not become this thin overnight.

This is not one missed meal.
This is not one difficult afternoon.
This is prolonged suffering that has apparently continued while her body wastes away.

And today, the heat alone could kill her.

How many people have driven past?

How many have watched her deteriorate?

How long was everyone expected to look the other way while a starving dog remained tethered outside in triple-digit temperatures?

Titus County Police Department is currently being contacted, and Let Love Live is demanding an immediate welfare check and intervention. She needs water, veterinary care and protection—now.

If you are in Talco and have firsthand information about this dog or any possible puppies, contact the proper authorities and message Let Love Live immediately. Document only what you can safely and legally observe.

Do not trespass, threaten anyone or interfere with authorities. Demand lawful action. Demand accountability. Refuse to let this become another report that gets ignored until an animal dies.

Animal neglect survives because people stay quiet.

We will not be quiet.

Share this everywhere until she is safe.

FUNDRAISER FRIDAY: TEDDI’S FIGHT TO BREATHE EASIER ❤️‍🩹

You’ve watched Teddi discover the life she should have known all along—warm baths, soft beds, her own toys, a foster sister named Lucy and the unconditional love of Gloria and her family.

Tomorrow, the hardest part of her healing begins.

Gloria originally found Teddi wandering as a stray while suffering from a vaginal prolapse. Once Teddi was safely in our care, we discovered that her medical struggles went much deeper: severe bronchitis and a high level of heartworm infection causing significant distress in her lungs and heart.

For the past two months, Teddi has been preparing for this moment with antibiotics, breathing treatments, cough medicine and preventatives.

Now she is finally ready to begin the immiticide injections that will kill the adult heartworms—but we need your help.

Her complete treatment estimate is $1,590.51, including:

🐾 Three immiticide injections
🐾 Hospitalization and monitoring
🐾 Necessary medications and procedure supplies

We will post the veterinary estimate in the comments for complete transparency.

Teddi has already survived being abandoned, sick and unable to breathe comfortably. She finally knows what it feels like to be cherished. Now we need to give her the chance to heal and enjoy that beautiful new life.

Every gift matters:

❤️ $5 brings us closer
❤️ $25 helps cover her medical care
❤️ $50 makes a meaningful dent in this bill
❤️ Sharing Teddi’s story may reach the person who can help us finish the goal

Please donate through the link below and write TEDDI in the note:

ROSSI IS READY TO BE SOMEBODY’S BESTEST FRIEND ❤️

Rossi once knew the comfort of belonging to someone. Then his person passed away, and this sweet senior boy’s entire world changed.

Now he is one of the little dogs waiting in the Let Love Live building for the chance to feel at home again.

But loss hasn’t taken away Rossi’s enormous smile or his capacity to love. The people who spend time with him describe him perfectly:

“Rossi is so stinking sweet—the bestest friend you could ever ask for.” 🥰

That is exactly what this little guy wants to be. Not merely someone’s dog, but their companion. Their cuddle buddy. Their loyal little shadow and happy face waiting to greet them.

Rossi has already lost someone he loved. He deserves to spend the rest of his life knowing he is safe, cherished and family again.

Please share Rossi tonight and help his next person find him.

MEET EMILY ❤️🐾

Behind that bright smile is a senior girl who still has so much life—and so much love—left to give.

Emily may have a little silver in her story, but senior dogs aren’t finished living. They still want warm beds, familiar voices, slow mornings, afternoon naps and a person who makes them feel like they finally belong.

The kennel should never be the final chapter for a girl like Emily.

She deserves to spend her golden years being someone’s companion—not waiting behind a gate and watching families pass her by.

Please help us put Emily’s beautiful face in front of the person who has been waiting for a gentle senior to love. Apply to adopt, or share her today.

Older. Wiser. Softer. Still filled with love.
