Northwoods Pet Care Center will be closed on Memorial Day as we join our community in honoring the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are incredibly grateful for their sacrifice and the freedoms we enjoy because of them. We hope you spend the day safely with family, friends, and your furry companions 🐾

📢Ticks are out in FULL force right now!

With warmer temps and everything greening up, we’re seeing an abundance of ticks on pets, people, and in the environment. Please be sure to check yourself and your pets after spending time outdoors! Ticks can be tiny and easy to miss, but they can carry diseases that affect both people and animals. Even indoor pets aren’t totally safe—ticks can hitch a ride inside on clothing or other animals.

🐾 Check common hiding spots:
• Behind ears
• Around collars/neck
• Between toes
• Under legs and belly

Make sure your furry friends are on a reliable flea & tick prevention and if you find a tick or have questions, we’re here to help!

Stay safe out there, it’s definitely tick season!

They are the calm in the chaos, the organizers behind the scenes, and the friendly faces that make our clinic feel like home; we truly don’t know what we would do without them. If you’re in the clinic this week, please take a moment to give them an extra thank you because they truly deserve it!
