August Dog of the Month voting is now OPEN!
Here's a quick rundown of how the competition unfolds:
🐶 Eligibility: Every dog that attends our daycare the previous month is automatically entered into a random drawing.
✅ Nomination: From this pool, we randomly select 4 lucky pups to move forward to the voting stage.
😃 Your Role: This is where the fun begins! You get to VOTE, SHARE, and CAMPAIGN for your favorite dog. Rally your friends and family to support your chosen pup!
Not only will you be helping a dog bask in their moment of fame, but the winning dog will also be featured in Wayne Weekly by the New Old North, gaining local celebrity status!
⏰ Voting Deadline: Make sure to cast your vote by August 23.
🏆 Winner Announcement: The top dog will be announced at the end of the month.

The Mount Olive Wag, Walk, and Run! is on Saturday October 10, 2026. It includes the following events: 5K Without Dog, 5k With Dog, and 1 Mile Run & Walk.

🐶🏃‍♀️ Mount Olive Parks & Recreation and Bark & Bone Pet Services are excited to announce the 1st Annual Mount Olive Wag, Walk, and Run 5K & Fun Run with Your Pup!

This fun, family-friendly event will benefit The Mount Olive Friends of the Parks and Pawtism, helping support local parks and providing service dogs for children with autism.

🏃‍♀️A Run The East event.

🗓️ Race date - Saturday, October 10th.
Start time - 9:00 a.m.
Location: Westbrook Park

We’re currently looking for Gold, Silver, and Bronze sponsors to help make this inaugural event a success! Sponsorship is a great way to promote your business while supporting two incredible causes.
