Our thoughts and prayers are with our clients who have said goodbye.

The house feels different now.
Not just quieter…
but heavier.
Like the air remembers you even when you’re not here.

I used to think absence meant nothing.
An empty space.
A missing shape.

But losing you taught me the truth.
Absence isn’t empty at all.

It’s full.

Full of the places you used to sleep.
The spot by the door where you waited like coming home was the best moment of your day.
The way the floor still creaks at the same hour you used to wander in search of me.

Your absence hums.
Soft.
Constant.

It shows up when I reach down without thinking.
When I hear a sound that almost feels like your paws.
When silence lands so suddenly it steals my breath.

Some days, the emptiness hurts more than the memories.
Because memories are warm.
Absence is sharp.

But even that sharpness carries love.
Because if you weren’t woven so deeply into my life,
your absence wouldn’t ache like this.

I feel you in the pauses.
In the moments between thoughts.
In the quiet knowing that what we had didn’t vanish…
it simply changed where it lives.

Maybe that’s what love does.
When it has nowhere else to go,
it fills the space it leaves behind.

So no—
this house is not empty.

It’s holding you.
In every corner.
In every breath.

And somehow,
that makes the absence bearable. 🌈🐾

We plan to be open tomorrow February 3rd from 10am-4:30pm to allow our clients and staff time to travel as safely as possible.
