Companion Animal Hospital We are a small animal practice founded on the principle of caring for pets and their people.

Dr. Lynn Libby and Dr. Mary Ellen Nixon opened Companion Animal Hospital in 1995 under the preface of caring for pets and their people. Companion Animal Hospital provides preventative healthcare, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, endoscopy, ultrasonography, digital radiography, acupuncture, canine rehabilitation, full dental care, nutritional care, and more!

As flowers 🌷 bloom, so do risks for our pets with plenty of opportunity for them to breathe in particles, scratch an eye, poke a paw, or even get snagged by a branch or thorn, all of which could potentially lead to infections.

Infections can be sneaky subtle- If your pet is not acting right and you are not sure what it is, get them checked! Like with most conditions, the sooner we treat an infection, the better your pet will feel.

When your pet isn’t feeling right, it can be hard to know if it can wait or needs immediate attention. We’re now available by phone any time—day or night—to help you make the right call.

We are just a phone call away, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

A licensed technician will review your pet’s symptoms to help determine next steps.
If it's not an emergency, we can help schedule a visit with your veterinarian while you safely monitor at home.
If it’s an emergency, we will help refer you to a local emergency hospital.

We’re here to help, 24/7. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
