It takes a lot to run our horsemanship program! Reinbow would not be able to function without our wonderful team of dedicated equine partners, and their care is of the utmost importance to us.

Take a sneak peek at what goes on behind the scenes to ensure they are healthy and happy and the program runs smoothly!

🗓️ For an inside view, come visit us at our Open House on June 6th from 1-4pm and take a tour, meet our horses and volunteers, and our program coordinator/Instructor Julia!

Fun Fact Friday!

Reinbow is able to offer its programming because of our wonderful group of volunteers who are committed its mission and our riders. This spring we are offering a weekly continuing education class for them to increase hands-on experiences and learning opportunities so that they feel safe, comfortable, and confident with all of our horses and riders!

Some of the things covered in the class were: haltering, hand holds on the lead line, leading with purpose, backing up, spatial awareness in proximity to the horse, squaring a horse up, pressure points on the horse, and how to read their body language and adjust position accordingly so that the horse is a calm and relaxed position.
