North Country Animal League (NCAL) aims to foster a positive, welcoming and vibrant online community through our social media pages. We encourage comments, questions and suggestions that are both respectful and kind. All comments must follow our community guidelines. Please read our guidelines below. SPOTLIGHT on EL LORCA: El Lorca is our longest cat resident. He likes to pretend like he is a tough guy, but really he's a big softie. Lorca will give an initial hiss when he first meets you, but after getting a good sniff he's all about pets and hanging out. He loves to play with cat toys, and loves the company of other cats according to his previous foster. We are hoping this guy will find a person who can look past his spicy first impression to the wonderful cat he is. Come meet El Lorca today! Our staff is happy to walk you through initial introductions and let you feed him a cat churro!

SPOTLIGHT on MOLLY: Molly is our longest dog resident. She is AMAZING! She helps shy dogs break out of their shells and play, she is our play group leader. She was recently in foster care to get a break from shelter life and they had nothing but good things to say about her. She was wonderful with their 4 year old child and their dogs. A wonderful house guest. PLEASE consider giving Molly a forever home! She has been waiting a long time and she deserves it!
