Some flags have flown proudly for years—through Arizona sun, wind, storms, celebrations, and sacrifice. When they become worn and tattered, they deserve more than to simply be thrown away. They deserve to be retired with honor.

On Saturday, September 12, the Desert Oasis Honor Guard will conduct a respectful American Flag Retirement Ceremony at Western Trails Ranch during our Patriot’s Ride to Remember event.

WE NEED YOUR TATTERED AMERICAN FLAGS!

Beginning NOW, you can bring your worn, faded, torn, or tattered American flags to Dillon’s at Western Trails Ranch. We will respectfully hold them so they can be properly retired during the ceremony.

Whether you attend the event or simply have a flag that deserves a proper farewell, please bring it to us.

Every flag tells a story. Every flag deserves respect.

Help us fill this ceremony with the flags of our community and give them the honorable retirement they have earned. ❤️🤍💙

Something BIG is coming to Grand Avenue… and October is where it all begins.

Join us October 9 & 10 at Western Trails Ranch for the official GRAND AVE OPRE FEST RELEASE PARTY — your first taste of a brand-new country music festival built to put the spotlight exactly where it belongs: on the up-and-coming women of country music.

This February 19–21, Grand Ave Opre Fest takes over WTR for an entire weekend celebrating the women writing the songs, chasing the dream, and becoming the next generation of country music.

But before we reveal the full festival lineup… we’re throwing one hell of a release party.

Every Sunday morning, Patricia Russell & Bill Betis are bringing musicians, singers, locals, friends and anyone who loves good music together for an old-school, come-as-you-are JAM SESSION from 8–11AM!

And here’s where it gets fun…

🤠 That artist you watched on our stage Saturday night? Don’t be surprised if they wander back in Sunday morning, grab some breakfast…and end up joining the JAM.

There’s no set list. No big production. No telling exactly who will show up.

As we prepare to gather, we are honored to announce that

***Arizona Senate President and Arizona State Attorney General Candidate, WARREN PETERSEN, will join us at Western Trails Ranch as a special guest speaker for **A Patriot’s Ride to Remember***

**ONE YEAR LATER AS ONE COMMUNITY**

Senator Petersen will speak about SB 1010 and the designation of “Charlie Kirk Loop 202” — a lasting tribute carrying Charlie’s name forward in the state he called home.

There is a way YOU can be part of this evening. 🇺🇸

Between now and Friday September 11, Western Trails Ranch will be accepting worn, faded, and tattered American flags **EVERY DAY leading up to the event**.

If you have a flag that has flown proudly over your home, ranch, business, school or property and has reached the end of its service, Please don’t throw it away. DO THE RIGHT THING! Bring it to us.

We will gather the flags entrusted to us by our community and respectfully retire them during our Tattered Flag Ceremony, performed by the Desert Oasis Honor Guard Team With Guidance and Supervision from local Fire Departments Lead by Chris Pond.
