This weekend, our home got a little quieter… and our hearts got a little fuller and heavier all at once. 💛

Norman, Booker, Jasper, Otis and Dandelion went home.

We spend weeks pouring everything into these babies, every early morning, every late night, every feeding, every cuddle… and somehow in that time, they become a part of us. Not just puppies… family.

Norman, Booker, Jasper, Otis and Dandelion, your paw prints are forever on our hearts. Watching you walk away this weekend was the kind of moment that fills your eyes with tears… but your heart with so much pride.

Because we know where you’re going.
We know how loved you already are.
We know you’re about to be someone’s whole world.

And that makes it all worth it.

To your families, thank you for trusting us, for loving them, and for giving them the life we dreamed for them from day one.

Here is what’s going on from their point of view. Here’s to being one of the most adorable little faces and sounds around! Here to our Golden Retriever puppies.

🐾 Physical Development

👀 Eyes
• Fully open
• Still a bit cloudy/blue
• Vision improving but not sharp

👂 Ears
• Opening more
• Start responding to sound
• May startle at loud noise

🦵 Movement
• Walking, not crawling
• Wobbly but purposeful
• Beginning to play bow and pounce
• Trying to climb out if walls are low 😅

🧠 Behavioral Changes

🐶 Social behavior
• Starting to interact with littermates
• Mouthing faces
• Tiny growls
• Beginning bite inhibition lessons

😴 Sleep
• Still sleeping a lot
• Awake periods getting longer

🍼 Nursing
• Shorter sessions
• More aggressive latch
• Teeth buds starting to irritate mom

🥣 Eating

At 22 days:
• Should be exploring mush
• Walking through it
• Starting to actually swallow some
• Not fully relying on solids yet

By 25–28 days:
• They should be eating real amounts.

🚽 Potty
• Beginning to move away from sleep area to eliminate
• No longer fully dependent on mom to stimulate

This is when you can start introducing:
👉 A designated potty area in the pen

🧬 Neurological
• Responding to touch
• Beginning to notice different surfaces
• Curious but still cautious

This is the beginning of the “socialization window.”
