Adopt Valentine & Cupid!

Yes, these two are back with us through no fault of their own. Adopter was having issues with allergies to them (had lived previously with cats) and gave it a try for two months before ultimately returning them.

Valentine's a beautiful longhair/medium hair girl looking for her forever home. She is friendly and enjoys attention and can get quite chatty when she wants it! She's very nurturing towards the other cats. She's approx 2 years old.

Cupid is a mama's boy! He loves to play and gets along great with other cats. He is approx 8-9 months old.

These two girls are looking for their forever home! They are friendly and love love love to play. They do well entertaining themselves but they especially love interactive play with string toys. They love a good cuddle on the couch or bed and purr away. They love to eat and are always interested in what you have. 😋 They are also super curious about what you're doing and will accompany you around. They live with other cats in their foster home. Our 4 newest babies from the shelter! They were found in a shoebox by animal control in Newark. Very well fed and clean so they must've been indoors with mom, the owner clearly felt they were big enough to get rid of. Kittens should be with Mom and littermates for 8-12wks! It helps them to become well adjusted cats. Even when Mom has started weaning them around 5wks old, she is still teaching them how to be a cat! These kittens are not eating solid food yet (approx 3wks old) so we are bottle feeding/syringe feeding them.

Myles made it into Mylestone Equine Rescue newsletter! He is doing great in his foster home and loves other cats.

Myles is around 4-5 months old and was brought to us after he'd been dumped at a horse rescue. He was in pretty rough shape, but we got him cleaned up and nursed him back to health. Myles is a bit timid so he'll need an adopter who is patient and can work to help get him out of his shell. He loves to be pet and will purr really loud once he feels comfortable. He loves to play with his foster mom and dad, especially with his fishing pole. We'd also like Myles to go to a home with another young, friendly cat. Myles loves the attention he gets from the other kitties in his foster home. He's neutered and up to date on his shots.

Sebastian & Flounder are working for the weekend! 🐈

It must've been Bring Your Foster Cats to Work Day, because these boys put in a few hours at the office today! They took over filing duties and even made sure there were no printer jams. They even snuck in a catnap or two 🤫

This bonded pair would love to be adopted together. They are always snuggled up together. They get along great with other cats and are even perfectly okay with dogs too - you'll see Flounder saw no issue with stealing the office dog's bed. They love every person they meet - no one is a stranger! They did great at our kitten yoga event the other weekend. They love to eat and play - super easy perfect kitties!

Our bottle baby has been healing from 2 abscesses (he was born in a shed at Agway on sharp straw, could be the culprit) with meds and cleaning and now some laser therapy! Thank you Dr. Lentis!

Even our smallest patients receive big care here at Morristown Animal Hospital.

This little kitten, being fostered by Lori, received a laser treatment by Dr Lentis.

Last weekend Agway contacted us about some newborn kittens they found. We went to get them and some of them were still attached to the placenta! Mama was either interrupted during labor or was a young mom and didn't know what to do. We took the kittens in, got them clean and warm and fed. Unfortunately all but one have passed away (they did look a bit premature as well). They were able to trap who they believe is the mom and she is TINY! Not even 6lbs which suggests she could potentially be as young as 6 months old herself. Cats can have kittens as young as at 4 months old! She has no interest in the kittens and is quite feral so we are TNRing her for them as they do take care of the cats on their property.

Adopt Sebastian & Flounder! 🦀🐠

These two orange brothers would love to be adopted together. They do everything together! Both very friendly and social with people and also great with other cats (they seemed okay with a dog too). They were a huge hit at Cat Yoga this past weekend and absolutely loved all of the attention.

Sebastian & Flounder love to play, eat, and find a good window spot! Flounder is the one with the funky eye. His eye is the result of a previously untreated injury or possibly damage from a URI as a kitten. We did try treating it briefly to see if it had any effect but nothing really changed and the eye doesn't seem to bother him at all (he's more bothered by us trying to treat it 😹). None of the vets they've seen have seemed concerned about it or they would have removed it at his neuter.

Both boys are approx 1-2 years old, up-to-date on vaccines, and so ready for their forever home!

The new kits on the block! We hope everyone going to kitten yoga on Sunday likes black cats because there will be a few of them!

We just got these 6 kittens yesterday, all black (or mostly black) except for one tuxedo lady. There's 3 boys and 3 girls. All 8wks old so once they get settled in they'll be ready for adoption!

Adopt Marmee! Marmee has been loving all of the attention she's been getting since her kittens have been adopted. She's really thriving in her foster home, but still looking for her forever home. She likes other cats (she currently has 3 fosters brothers), but isn't a huge fan of dogs. Marmee is about 1.5 years old, spayed and up to date on vaccines. She's chill, loves meal time, and is a big fan of finding a sunny spot to nap.
