Belmont County Cat Stray Shun The purpose of our organization is to spay and neuter stray cats in our community. We also provide a low cost spay/neuter program to those of low income.

We are proud to officially be responsible for the financial veterinary care of all cats and kittens Belmont County Cat Stray Shun was founded in April of 2011 and is a non profit - tax exempt organization. We have spay/neutered over 2000 cats in our community and they all have shelter and are being fed. We offer a low cost spay/neuter program to residents of Belmont County if they have taken in a

stray cat or if they need financial assistance. We have also found homes for over 200 kittens in the past two years for the Belmont County Animal Shelter. We love working in conjunction with them. We are always happy to have volunteers to trap strays or to foster kittens until they are ready to be adopted. Our goal is to alleviate the suffering of stray and feral cats in our community which will also stop the possibility of a child being injured.

Meet Church! ❤️

Church arrived at our shelter in May and quickly became a staff favorite. He came to us with a painful condition called bilateral entropion, which made his lower eyelids roll inward. This caused his eyelashes to constantly rub against his eyes, leading to pain and irritation.

Luckily, Church had surgery to correct his eyelids, and now this sweet boy can enjoy life without that constant discomfort. Through it all, Church has been a trooper. He’s incredibly sweet and has one of those personalities that's impossible not to love. He enjoys being with the other cats and is always excited to greet the shelter staff in the morning.

At just 2 years old, Church has so much life ahead of him, and we would love for him to spend it in a forever home. We've cared for him and helped him heal, and now we hope to see our staff favorite become someone’s family favorite. ❤️
