Faith was released from the hospital this afternoon. She is on prescription can food and eating well. She can lick up the food and water through the open muzzle, which has to remain on for awhile. She has already gained a little weight ! Faith will continue her antibiotics since she is still at risk for infection. She was a perfect little patient during her hospital stay and won many hearts !
She is SO SWEET and LOVING.
We want to thank Dr John Owens and staff at the Animal Hospital of Marion for the excellent care she received. Faith goes back Sept 8th to the hospital for one of many follow up appointments. She will have to be sedated to get xrays but it is imperative to monitor how well her jaw is healing. Faith's recovery will take approximately 2 months.
We also want to thank everyone for their prayers and donations for Faith. We are deeply grateful !!
As you can see in the pics, Faith is settling in with her guardian angel and foster mom, Ann and is very happy !! Ann had 4 beds laid out for Faith and let her pick which one she loved the most. ( Faith loves the pink one 💕 )! Ann is going to spoil this amazing little girl. Please keep those prayers coming for our precious Faith !! 💖
