“At a time when our hearts were broken, Pet Pilgrimage helped to make the last time spent with our precious Victoria a peaceful and loving experience. Lisa was a calming and understanding voice as we grieved while trying to make arrangements for our girl. She made the process as easy as it could possibly be under the circumstances. We opted to bring Victoria to the crematory ourselves, and she met us at the car with a gurney and a blanket to place over our baby, very respectful and considerate. We sat in a quiet room to say our last goodbyes and then Victoria was wheeled away. I highly recommend Pet Pilgrimage to all pet parents who are experiencing a loss and want to keep the remains of their very much loved family members in their homes.”

Our Story

Given the rich and intense relationship most pet owners share with their animal companions, the loss of a pet can be very painful. How could we feel any other way when these faithful companions have brightened our lives and filled our hearts with unconditional love. We understand these feelings. We will support you and your family through this difficult time and help you honor your pet in a way that brings you comfort. We offer private cremation for personal pets which means your pet is cremated individually. Each family we serve receives a complementary ceramic paw print and a hand carved rosewood urn. In addition, we take photos of your pet's nose and paws to keep on file so you have the option to order keepsakes that incorporate special features such as this. We also offer transportation of your pet from your veterinary clinic or your home 24 hours a day. There are many ways to work through the grief of losing a pet, and Pet Pilgrimage offers support to anyone in need. Our grief support group meets every second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm, and we hold a Pet Life Celebration (a day of remembrance) annually on the second Sunday of September at Pet Pilgrimage. We are here to help any way we can at a time when you need it most.
