Angels Helping Animals is an all-volunteer, non-profit group in NJ dedicated to helping fur babies. Angels Helping Animals is an all-volunteer group.
Angels Helping Animals is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to helping improve the lives of fur babies in need. We are a family run rescue that has an amazing Angels family of volunteers, adopters and supporters. Without our amazing Angels Family we would not be able to do what we do! Angels Helping Animals is a rescue that strives to help any fur baby in need. We have our own adoption pr
ogram to find "furever" homes for those in need. We work with other rescues and shelters to share donations during times of need. We also have a growing TNR (trap- neuter-release) program that works to minimize the number of free-roaming, feral, abandoned and homeless cats. We work to humanely trap colonies of cats, have them neutered or spayed, vaccinated and evaluated. This keeps the size of the colony small by not allowing cats to reproduce and allows us to place adoptable cats into their "furever" homes. Every donation we receive goes directly to helping animals in need. All administration costs for Angels Helping Animals have always and will always be taken care of personally by our volunteers. No donation money is ever used. This means that 100% of your donation will always go towards helping a fur baby in need. Welcome to the Angels family!

Angels Family we need your help! Today we’ve received a one star review from a woman that neither one of us has ever talked to and our emails did not discuss our adoption process. She left us a one star review because she misread our adoption process and disagrees with what she thinks she read.
If you have happily adopted from us, please go to Google and leave us a Google review to counteract her 1-star which dropped our overall rating.

This little girl is so beautiful! Bitsy loves toys and loves to play! She knows what she wants and loves to cuddle on her own terms.

Titan is the star of the show! He just loves attention- pet him, pick him up, cuddle him, play with him- it doesn’t matter as long as you are with him! He is a true love bug! His favorite toy is jingle balls!
Titan is about 3 months old, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations.
Rhys is our little cupcake! He just loves to cuddle and is a purr machine! Many times he bypasses play time just to be carried around and snuggled by his human.

Rhea is the little princess of her litter! She knows what she wants and when she wants it. She loves all types of toys and loves to play. Rhea loves her pets on her terms when she has tired herself out.
Rhea is about 3 months old, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations.
Our handsome boys are ready to find their furever home...together! Meet Billy and Benny! Billy is full of kitten mischief but loves to be snuggled. His hair is a bit longer than Benny's. Benny is our survivor! When Benny first came to us, he had two injured legs and at one point was facing amputation. He has made a full recovery from his injuries with no lasting effect. Even at the vet with his treatments, Benny purred the whole time. All the staff fell in love with him and his brother who always came along for that brotherly support.
Benny and Billy are about 3 months old, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped and up to date on their vaccinations. Benny and Billy are a bonded pair and will only be adopted together.
On the 28th, we will be celebrating Kate’s birthday! She is the heart and soul of Angels and it’s her passion that got us started in rescue! She is our TNR queen and our feral kitty whisperer.
Please help us celebrate and honor Kate for her birthday! She isn’t officially on Facebook but checks out all the comments that everyone leaves. So please wish her happy birthday, leave some love and if you are able honor her with a small donation to help us (her) continue her passion of helping as many as possible.
Heather is extremely allergic to both cats and dogs- like off the charts during testing WITH allergy meds taken the morning of (and also asthmatic). We’ve been to allergists who have demanded we get rid of the fur babies…we got rid of the allergists instead 😂 The first amazing one recently retired which lead us on the search for a new one (thankfully the second one we tried was amazing too!) Through it all, we learned some amazing tips we want to share:
-allergy meds work better when taken every day. If one doesn’t work, try another until you find one that does.
-combine allergy meds with nasal spray (we like nasacort best but again try each until you find one that works for you
-eye drops are essential (Pataday is awesome for us!)
-air purifiers are amazing! Size does matter! Go bigger! Put one in every room especially where you spend a lot of time. We have a favorite one we found during the pandemic.
-keep your bedroom fur free if possible
-allergy shots are a pain! However they work wonders over time! We believe in them so much, Heather just started round two after doing them about 10 years ago to continue to lessen her reaction.
Allergies are one of the biggest reasons we are given when people reach out to surrender. We do realize everyone is different and there are some extreme circumstances where there may be a need to rehome due to allergies. However as a rescue we urge you to get support from an allergist or two and try every possible thing to keep your fur baby.

Angels Helping Animals is an all-volunteer, non-profit group dedicated to improving the lives of animals in need.
Our original vision was dedicated to improving of shelter animals by providing much needed supplies, including but not limited to food, bedding, toys, cleaning supplies. We do the fundraising, the necessary shopping and the coordination and delivery to shelters. Angels Helping Animals was to be the link between the general public who would like to give to shelters but either do not have the time or are not sure how to proceed and the shelters who so desperately need the public’s help.
Since we have started, Angels Helping Animals has grown larger than we ever imagined possible. We now have a rapidly expanding TNR (trap-neuter-release) program. Our colonies are cared for on a daily basis, providing food, shelter and vet care to our feral cats. Many have reached out to us for assistance when they encounter a colony of cats in need.
Our adoption program has also developed and grown over the past few years since we began. We are a foster-based rescue, which means all of our adoptable pets are located in the homes of our volunteers. This ensures that our pets have the smoothest transition into their furever homes when they are adopted.
