Angels Helping Animals is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to helping improve the lives of fur babies in need. We are a family run rescue that has an amazing Angels family of volunteers, adopters and supporters. Without our amazing Angels Family we would not be able to do what we do! Angels Helping Animals is a rescue that strives to help any fur baby in need. We have our own adoption pr

ogram to find "furever" homes for those in need. We work with other rescues and shelters to share donations during times of need. We also have a growing TNR (trap- neuter-release) program that works to minimize the number of free-roaming, feral, abandoned and homeless cats. We work to humanely trap colonies of cats, have them neutered or spayed, vaccinated and evaluated. This keeps the size of the colony small by not allowing cats to reproduce and allows us to place adoptable cats into their "furever" homes. Every donation we receive goes directly to helping animals in need. All administration costs for Angels Helping Animals have always and will always be taken care of personally by our volunteers. No donation money is ever used. This means that 100% of your donation will always go towards helping a fur baby in need. Welcome to the Angels family!

We promise- a happy ending!

While feeding one of our sites this afternoon we came across a heartbreaking sight- a raccoon stuck between two trees. This poor baby was not going to last long with as tightly as he was wedged and we have no idea how long he had been there already. With no tools and no way to help this baby, we reached out to our favorite landscaper Franzeo's Landscaping. John thankfully was close by and came right over. For almost an hour, he worked to get this baby free. We were all misty-eyed as the raccoon wobbled off.

If you ever need any landscaping done, please reach out Franzeo’s! John has a huge heart and we know they do great work! They take care of our lawn.

Thank you to Jeannie and Mark who really stepped up when we needed them! A week ago we asked for five shelters for a colony we assist with. Due to location they needed to be totes and larger to accommodate at least two cats. We have have four shelters ready to go thanks to them! 💚

Meet Pearl, Patrick, Sandy, Star and Bobby!

This is what helps make rescue work! These babies were found struggling and we had no where for them to go. The finder agreed to foster so these babies could get the help they need!

These little babies are just four weeks old. They have severe upper respiratory infections and eye infections. Pearl’s eye infection is so bad she needs specially compounded eye meds just in the hope of trying to save her eye. These babies spent the day at Urgent care yesterday for supportive care to give them a boost. They aren’t out of the woods yet so send those prayers and positive vibes our way.

We need help covering their expenses. Pearl’s eye medicine alone was $80. The others have a different eye medication and all are on antibiotics along with their urgent care stay yesterday.

Five Hand crafted shelters needed!

We have several sites in addition to the ones that we feed on a daily basis ourselves that we oversee. They have their own designated caregiver who provides for them. These are sites that we have set up, provided the shelters and feed stations for and provide medical care when needed. One particular site that we oversee is in desperate need of shelters.

However, this is in a location that is rough terrain so we need tote shelters rather than heavy wooden shelters we love. We have a limited space for shelters so we totes that could fit two cats. All of the cats that will be occupying these shelters are full size adults so the totes need to be on the larger size inside. We haven’t found any styrofoam coolers that are an ideal size for this particular need. We are hoping someone can make a shelter or two using styrofoam sheets glued to the sides, top and bottom to help these kitties stay warm as we all know this weather will be over before we know it!

Our Story

Angels Helping Animals is an all-volunteer, non-profit group dedicated to improving the lives of animals in need.

Our original vision was dedicated to improving of shelter animals by providing much needed supplies, including but not limited to food, bedding, toys, cleaning supplies. We do the fundraising, the necessary shopping and the coordination and delivery to shelters. Angels Helping Animals was to be the link between the general public who would like to give to shelters but either do not have the time or are not sure how to proceed and the shelters who so desperately need the public’s help.

Since we have started, Angels Helping Animals has grown larger than we ever imagined possible. We now have a rapidly expanding TNR (trap-neuter-release) program. Our colonies are cared for on a daily basis, providing food, shelter and vet care to our feral cats. Many have reached out to us for assistance when they encounter a colony of cats in need.

Our adoption program has also developed and grown over the past few years since we began. We are a foster-based rescue, which means all of our adoptable pets are located in the homes of our volunteers. This ensures that our pets have the smoothest transition into their furever homes when they are adopted.
