We are excited to announce that we are lucky to have Dr. Madison Lathem joining our team next week. Dr. Lathem is originally from Wichita, KS. where she received her bachelor’s degree in animal sciences and industry from Kansas State University in 2021 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine this past May. She has a soft spot for senior pets and enjoys internal medicine. In addition, she loves shelter medicine and advocating for animals without an owner. Outside of the clinic, you can usually find her with a good book in hand, enjoying a day out on the lake with her fiancé, or hanging with her cats, Winnie and Emma!
We can't wait to introduce her to our clients and our community.

Hi! My name is Birdie.
You may remember I was stuck in a tree for several days and a good samaritan got me down and brought me to Lakeside.
I’ve been recuperating here and now I’m ready to find a new place to hang (preferably with no trees, thank you very much).
I’d much rather be the only cat getting attention (and snacks) if you know what I mean.
I’m up to date on all my shots, and I’ve been spayed and microchipped.
If you are interested in me give the clinic a call!

Agnes is looking for a Valentine home.
Agnes came to us after she was found in a ditch by an older gentleman.
She is blind in one eye but that doesn't slow her down.
She is shy at first but will show you all the love a Valentine can give, if you give her a chance.
She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines.
She's shared a bowl with Linus(let's be honest he helped himself) so we think she'll be okay with other animals. If you are interested in meeting Agnes please give the clinic a call.
