At 13 years old, Henry should be spending his days somewhere soft. Somewhere quiet. Somewhere he knows he belongs. ❤️

And thanks to an angel among us, he is.

Sweet Henry has officially started his heartworm treatment, and a wonderful foster mom has opened her home to give this precious senior exactly what he needs while he recovers.,,,a comfortable place to rest his head, gentle care, and the peace of being out of the shelter.

But foster care is only one chapter of Henry’s story.

He is still searching for his forever.

Henry deserves a home where “temporary” disappears from his vocabulary. A place where he can settle into his favorite bed, learn the sounds of his people coming home, and spend every remaining season of his life knowing he is exactly where he is supposed to be.

His foster mom is happy to meet interested adopters at the shelter so you can spend some time getting to know this sweet old soul.

Meet Bambi! When this sweet pup was diagnosed with a severe knee fracture that required immediate amputation surgery, her rescue faced a financial hurdle to afford her care.

Gus is a 7-month-old male Terrier mix who was found in the county, and sadly, his owner never came for him. He’s tan with white markings on his face; and he is quite the handsome pup. He’s expected to grow into a medium to large adult dog. Like any young dog, Gus is full of energy and playfulness, and he’d thrive with an active family. He’d also love to play with other dogs and children. Gus is eagerly waiting to meet his forever family.
