Exciting things on the horizon!

We will be closed for lessons from August 18th through September 7th.

I will be celebrating my wedding with my wonderful fiancé and our families and then we will be moving horses to our new location! Keep an eye out for details in the next two weeks so everyone is ready to jump back in the saddle with us in September!

Thank you as always for your support, we cannot wait to see what adventures the new facility holds for us!

Working with Zeus has taught me so much. He teaches you to be patient. To listen. To be kind. To be understanding. To not push the limits because you THINK you can.

We are reworking our gentling from last year. He decided he didn’t like where it was going and said we were starting over. Today I was touching his ears with the bridal but it wasn’t the time to put them over his ears. I listened. I kept with desensitizing. Kept loving him. Showing him the halter isn’t scary. That he has a choice here too. How fast or slow we go. My 14 going on 15 wild mustang is smart, patient and kind and I am going to use that to my advantage and be patient with him. Because I know once we get past his fears, he is going to be an amazing horse.

Oh Rose… what kind of a buckskin color are you turning!?! Gray hairs on the face but the start of buckin coloring as her foal hair sheds 🤦🏻‍♀️ looking like a rose gray coloring maybe???
So crazy to see the color changes!!!! Stay tuned as she grows! (Which we will tape her this weekend to see where she’s at!)

Thank you to everyone for your support and patience the last few weeks while I had surgery. I’m still building my strength back but I’m happy to say I’m back to the farm this evening and starting lessons again next week! Reach out to get back on the schedule!!
