🐾 THE PAWS WEEKLY ROUNDUP! 🐾

Another week of wagging tails, happy pups, pasture adventures, and plenty of fun at Paws on the Pasture! 🐶

🎃 Halloween Fun! We wrapped up our Halloween Costume Contest, and WOW did our pups deliver! Congratulations again to Murphy, our first-place winner, and Racecar Rudy, our runner-up! Both are taking home a FREE day of daycare! Thanks to everyone who participated and made it so much fun!

🌾 Pasture Time! From running with friends to soaking up the sunshine, our pups made the most of another week of play, adventure, and making memories.

💕 Our Amazing Pack! We are so grateful for our wonderful clients, our hardworking team, and all the four-legged friends who make Paws such a special place every single day. 😊

🐾NOVEMBER DOG OF THE MONTH: MURPHY! 🐾

Meet Murphy, our 8-year-old Australian Shepherd with a whole lot of s***k, a little spice, and a BIG personality! 🐶

Murphy absolutely LOVES her weekly trips to Paws, and she makes sure everyone knows it! The moment she spots that familiar white fence, the excitement kicks in and the vocals come out!

But here’s the best part… Murphy’s mom decided to put her to the test and blindfolded her to see if she could recognize when they were arriving at Paws without even seeing it. And guess what? SAME EXCITED REACTION! 🤣

Apparently, Murphy doesn’t need her eyes to know she’s about to have the BEST DAY EVER at the pasture! 💛

We absolutely adore this sweet girl and her wonderful pawrents. Thank you for making Paws part of your weekly routine and for being such a special part of our pack! 🫶

We love you, Murphy! Keep bringing that s***k and spice! 🐾

What a week at the pasture! We’ve had best-friend playdates, a few special birthdays, and plenty of happy pups enjoying their time with us. There’s never a dull moment around here, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! 🐶

🐾 GOOD DOG CLUB: MEETUP #2! 🐾

What a PAW-some morning at our second Good Dog Club meetup! 🐶

Our graduates, current students, and their humans came together for another morning of learning, connection, and LOTS of tail-wagging fun!

This time, we kicked things up a notch with an agility course and team relay race! 🏃‍♀️🐕

From navigating obstacles and jumps to cheering on their teammates, our pups got to put their skills to work while building confidence and having a blast with their humans! 💛

The Good Dog Club is all about celebrating progress, continuing the training journey, and building a community of dogs and humans who love learning together.

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out and made our second meetup such a success! We love seeing these pups grow, learn, and show off everything they’ve been working on. 👏

🐾 PAWS ON THE PASTURE WEEKLY ROUNDUP! 🐾

What a WEEK on the Pasture! Between a house full of happy boarding pups and another great gathering of our Good Dog Club, our hearts (and hands!) have been FULL!❤️

That’s right, we had another FULL HOUSE this weekend! We are so grateful for all the families who trust us to care for their four-legged family members while they’re away. There’s nothing better than a pasture full of wagging tails and happy playgroups! 🐕

Our Good Dog Club met for its second gathering, and we LOVE seeing our training clients continue their journeys! These meetups are all about keeping those skills sharp, building confidence, and strengthening bonds. A huge shoutout to our dedicated dogs, their humans, and Trainer Jess! This week Jess tested our pups with an agility course, we can’t wait to see what she has in store for next month’s meeting! 🐕‍🦺

From boarding buddies to good dogs in training, there’s always something special happening here at Paws on the Pasture. Thank YOU for being part of our pack! 🫶

BIG NEWS AT PAWS ON THE PASTURE! 🚨

Please help us give a HUGE congratulations to Rachel on her promotion to Kennel Manager! 🎉

Rachel has a heart for animals that goes far beyond the pasture. Originally from Philadelphia, she’s called several places home including Oregon, South Dakota, Arizona, and California. If you ask her, the Redwoods was her favorite - much cooler summers than we have here. ☀️

Along the way, she’s worked at state parks, stables, and animal shelters, building on her passion for rescue and making a difference in the lives of animals who need a second chance. 🫶

Rachel recently made the move to Waxhaw, her husband Michael’s hometown. We’re so happy she’s putting down roots in our community and continuing to grow with our Paws family! 🐾

When she’s not caring for our pack, she’s busy loving on her own crew of FOUR rescue dogs: Truck, Dakota, Ellie, and Steven! 🐕🐕🐕🐕 Clearly, caring for dogs isn’t just her job — it’s who she is! Outside of her love for animals, she enjoys reading, sewing, camping, and anything to do with nature.🏞️

We are so excited to see Rachel step into this next chapter and so lucky to have her on our team! ❤️
