HOUSE FIRE. EVERYTHING LOST. NOW THEIR LIVES ARE AT RISK TOO. 💔🐾

Scarlett & Sushi never expected to end up in a shelter.

Their family lost everything in a devastating house fire. Their home burned to the ground and in the aftermath they were forced into housing with a strict no-pet policy. With absolutely no other options, they had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender the dogs they love.

Please understand this was not abandonment. This family was devastated. They lost everything.

Now Scarlett and Sushi sit in an overcrowded shelter that is critically out of space, and we are desperately trying to keep this bonded pair from losing even more than they already have.

Through all of this heartbreak, they have held onto each other. 🥺

They sleep curled up together. They comfort one another. They constantly look for each other for reassurance in a world that suddenly became unfamiliar and scary.

After surviving such unimaginable loss, we cannot bear the thought of them being separated too.

These girls are sweet, loving, dog friendly, and desperately need a safe place to land.

Please help us change the ending to their story.

Our pack is officially lounging in style thanks to our brand new dog cots! These raised beds are durable, comfortable, and perfect for giving our pups a cozy place to relax. 💤

HUGE shoutout to Nolan and Bryan for assembling ALL of them - true MVPs! 💪👏

Huxley gave them a test run - he said two paws up! 🐾

What a FUN week here at the pasture! We had a full house of happy tails, zoomies for days, and plenty of sunshine to keep the pups playing all day! ☀️

From splash time in the pools to new friendships being made, it’s been nonstop excitement. We love seeing each dog’s personality shine—whether they’re leading the zoomie crew or soaking up cuddles with our team ❤️

A big shoutout to our amazing staff for keeping everyone safe, engaged, and loved all week long 👏

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Taylor! 🐾

Taylor is one of our dedicated team members who brings so much love and energy to the pack every single day. When she’s not caring for your pups, she’s hanging out with her own two—Bandit and Bentley—who keep her just as busy at home! 🐶

Taylor is getting ready for her next big adventure—she’s headed to UNC Wilmington this fall to study psychology 🎓 We are SO proud of her and can’t wait to see all the amazing things she accomplishes. Until then, week are soaking up all the Taylor time we can this Summer!
