Meet Daisy! This adorable 2-year-old, 25lb Beagle mix is looking for her forever home. Daisy is the perfect companion for families, as she gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. She’s a loving, playful pup who absolutely loves tennis balls and is always ready to share her affection with everyone she meets. Meet Our Adoptable Cats & Kittens!

We’re excited to introduce our currently adoptable cats and kittens! While dog appointments are still scheduled by appointment only, cat walk-ins are welcome! Come visit us to meet your new furry best friend anytime we are open.

Gracie is a medium sized beagle/hound mix. She is 9 years old, and was rescued from 'Dead Dog Beach' in Puerto Rico in 2015. Her birthday is November 1st, 2015. She is 43 lbs and is up-to-date on all vaccines and paperwork. Her color is brown with white spots and has freckles on her underbelly.

She is very fun, sweet, and energetic! She gives the best snuggles and is very loyal.

Gracie has lived in NYC where she would go on daily dog walks and play in the dog parks. She has even flown on an airplane a handful of times!

Gracie is indifferent to cats, she hasn't been around many. We moved to Cincinnati in 2020 and settled down, and with our 2nd baby on the way - she hasn't gotten the same attention as she once did. We live in an apartment and Gracie needs a home where she can be outside and is well loved for/taken care of.

She loves to go on outdoor runs and is always up for a walk. Gracie is very active, and fast! She acts much younger than her age. Look at the video in the comments of showing her activeness even with her age.

Gracie has been trained and is very obedient. She is potty-trained & crate-trained. She will heal, sit, lay down, come, place, and hold until she is told to break.

Here are some meaningful ways you can support PAWS Adoption Center, in addition to adopting an animal!

✨Donating✨
We gladly accept a variety of donations! Items that we cannot use are redirected to other shelters or local communities. Donations can be made via cash, card, or check. If you’re interested in donating specific items, some commonly needed goods include bleach, towels/blankets, dog toys (new or gently used), cat food, dog food, dog beds, scoopable litter, any medications, among other things. Additionally, you can support an animal directly by covering the veterinary care and food costs for a specific cat or dog.

✨Volunteering✨
We provide a variety of volunteer opportunities! After completing our orientation, you can help by socializing with animals, cleaning the facility, walking dogs, bathing and grooming pets, and more. Your time and dedication are truly appreciated! Volunteers must be 18+ to work with dogs. If you’re under 18, you can still work with cats, as long as an adult is present on the premises.

Sharing our posts on social media helps spread the word about our mission and available animals. A post shared from your feed could reach potential adopters or donors. Even if you’re unable to adopt or donate, a simple share can make a significant difference.

Meet Wesson, a 7-year-old, 35lb hound mix with a heart full of love and a talent for sitting on his hind legs! This sweet and friendly boy enjoys meeting new people and gets along well with humans of all ages. Wesson has an absolutely striking appearance with his two different eye colors—one a deep amber and the other a cool, captivating blue—making him as unique as he is handsome.

While Wesson prefers to be the only pet in the household, he’s more than happy to shower his humans with love and companionship. Are you interested in a position at PAWS? A K-9 Supervisor position is available.

Some of the responsibilities are:

• Responsible for any medical needs for the canines.
• All flea and tick medications are given on a regular schedule.
• See that all intake information is completed.
• Proper diet for each dog, as well as exercise.
• Dogs are groomed on a regular basis.
• Transportation is set up as needed to and from vet.

A full job description is available upon request. Hourly rate determined due to your experience and education.

So it seems that we have a repeat offender. Dumping animals is against the law! It's morally wrong, not to mention dangerous and traumatizing to the animals. This selfish act has put a huge burden on our already over capacitated shelter and budget. If anyone recognizes this cowardly cat dumper, driving a black car with front end damage please call or message us. They were seen waiting at the Crossing's park both times.
