PAWS Adoption Center PAWS is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter in Monroe, Ohio. We house approximately 80 dogs & cats.

Adoption costs include spay/neuter, vaccinations, health tests, and microchip. Dogs - 6 months and younger - $225, over 6 months - $200
Cats - $100

Tilly got to do a couple of day trips with one of our staff members, and here’s what we learned about her!

✨ Coexists or plays with other dogs
✨ Coexists great with cats (even when the cats are rude)
✨ Fully potty trained
✨ Fully crate trained
✨ Happy whether she’s spending the day on an adventure or curled up napping on the couch
✨ Does great with kids
✨ Welcomes new people into the home with ease
✨ 6 years old, but definitely doesn’t act like it! She still gets the zoomies like a puppy, as long as a nap is included afterward

Tilly settled into home life so naturally. Whether she was hanging out with other pets, supervising from the porch, cuddling on the couch, or simply relaxing nearby, she was happy to get the chance to be part of the family for a little bit of time.

We love finding new friend groups for our pups! Whether they’re running around playing with their best buddies or simply enjoying each other’s company and peacefully coexisting, these playgroups give them valuable social time and let their personalities shine.

Winter is looking for her forever home! She is a 10-year-old, 14 lb purebred Pekingese who is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. All veterinary records will be provided.

Winter only has one eye, but it does not slow her down one bit! She is a sweet girl who would do best in a calm, quiet home without young children or large dogs.

Please note that Winter is not fully potty trained and does not do well when crated.

Everyone welcome our newest friend, Velvet!

Velvet is a 37 lb Pit Mix with a sweet personality and lots of love to give. She coexists well with other dogs, does great with kids, and is incredibly trainable. Her favorite thing in the world might just be treats, and she’s always eager to learn when snacks are involved!

Velvet will need a home without cats, but if you’re looking for a loving, smart, and affectionate companion, she could be the perfect match for you.

Jello is a 10 year old Yorkie looking for a forever home. He is a sweet little guy who is used to having someone home often and currently uses puppy pads.

He is up to date on vaccines but will need ongoing veterinary care for stomach issues. It is believed that he is not neutered. He did previously live with another Yorkie when he was younger, but current dog compatibility is unknown.
