I’m looking for the right person to help me figure out a horses next chapter. ❤️

He’s a 16hh, 15-year-old who has gone through Second Level dressage and Preliminary eventing. He’s been sitting for about 2.5 years after a suspensory strain, because life and my schedule got busy. I’m not looking to sell him, but I’d love to find a good fit for one of two options:

Option 1: Someone interested in bringing him back into work, here at my property and under my supervision. There would be no lease fee for at least the first 3 months as we get him going again.

Option 2: Someone looking for a companion horse free lease within Connecticut. He would stay in-state, and I would want visitation rights.

He’s a sweet guy, an easy keeper, and has no current medical issues. Of course, he’ll need a thoughtful, gradual return to work given his history.

Chilly mornings & colorful trees. 🐴

🐴 Partial Lease Available at Silver Lining Stables!

Meet Willi! 🤎

Willi is an 18-year-old, 16.2hh bay Warmblood and a very safe dressage schoolmaster. He’s a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience, build confidence, and enjoy time in the saddle with a dependable partner.

We’re looking for someone interested in an on-farm partial lease, with a preference for riders who are available on weekdays.

Care lease pricing depends on the number of days per week.

We are looking to add another team member to the farm as we head into colder weather.
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

Prior horse experience is required, and we’re looking for someone who is comfortable with the hands-on side of keeping a barn running.

The day-to-day includes:
• Feeding
• Turnout & blanketing
• General barn maintenance
• Keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly

This is a hands-on farm position — not a riding or grooming job.
No housing available. ⭐️

💰 Pay will be discussed by email and is based on experience.

Fall light hits a little differently at the farm.

The sun sits lower, the shadows stretch a little longer, and even the familiar corners of the barn look a little different this time of year. Just another little reminder to slow down and enjoy the season. 🤎🐴

🌻 Hanging onto the last day of summer…

One last sunflower soaking up the September sunshine before fall officially arrives tomorrow. The air is getting crisp, the seasons are changing, but summer isn’t quite ready to let go yet. 🤍

🍂🐴 You can feel the seasons starting to change...

The trees are just beginning to trade their summer green for a little fall color, and the outdoor arena is looking pretty beautiful.

Not quite fall yet... but it’s definitely on its way. 🍁

We’re going to enjoy every last bit of these summer rides before the leaves really start to turn.
