We’re excited to introduce TWO new hands-on programs designed to help students become confident, knowledgeable, well-rounded horsepeople — both in and out of the saddle!

✨ BEYOND THE BRIDLE — MONDAYS
📅 September 14 – November 16
⏰ 3:00–6:30 PM | Flexible Arrival
💙 $750 Fall Session

Come anytime during the afternoon and learn real horsemanship skills including grooming, tacking, horse health, feeding, first aid, wrapping, barn management, show prep and more!

🐴 THE STABLE CLUB — SATURDAYS
⏰ 1:00–4:00 PM

Ever wonder what it would really be like to have your own horse? Each student will be assigned a Care Horse and spend Saturday afternoons learning about their horse’s individual needs while experiencing everything that goes into horse and barn care — from feeding and health checks to stalls, tack, turnout, paddocks and facility upkeep.

No riding experience is required, and you do not need to be a current One Above Farm student to participate in our Beyond the Bridles Program.

We’re excited to welcome new and returning riders to One Above Farm’s 2026 Fall Riding Session in Monroe, CT!

At One Above Farm, we believe riding is about more than time in the saddle. Horsemanship is at the heart of our program. Riders learn to become confident, capable horsemen through proper horse care, grooming, tacking, safety, responsibility, and respect — all while developing their riding skills.

✨ Our program offers private and group lessons, hunter & equitation instruction, youth and adult programs, horsemanship-focused education, and opportunities to participate on our show and IEA teams.

🇺🇸✨ Vermont Summer Festival 2026 ✨🇺🇸

What an incredible week in Vermont! We’re so proud of our riders for stepping into new divisions, taking on new challenges, and finishing the week with so many accomplishments. Every round was another opportunity to learn, grow, and build confidence.

🌟 Kaitlyn Hartigan
🐴 Competed in the Pre-Child/Adult Hunters, USHJA 2’ Hunters, Outreach Jumpers, and the Tiny Bit O’ 2’ Hunter Derby.
🏅 Finished 12th in a competitive Hunter Derby while gaining valuable experience throughout the week!

🌟 Evelyn Farrelly
🥉 3rd in the USHJA 3’ Hunters
🎖️ 7th in the USHJA 3’ Hunters
🏅 4th in The League Children’s Medal
⭐ Competed in the $2,500 USHJA Jr/Am National Hunter Derby and the .90m Jumper Classic, showcasing her versatility across both hunters and jumpers.

🏅 4th and 5th placings in Outreach .65m Jumpers, continuing to gain confidence and consistency in the jumper ring.
