Wild and wonderful times of the Adventure/Train Daycamp groups. Ill be focusing on leash work, with distractions next week. Doing training while another dog holds a sit or down stay. Working on Threshold practice during excited times as well. Do understand why I can be selective who joins the Daycamp. Its based off group comrade, what owners are wanting out of what I offer, how does the dog bring value to the group, also I enjoy that the dogs can somewhat count on who will be there so its not just a Chex mix of dogs which leads to chaos. I dont just allow them to be fools here and only wild play. There is structure, there are rules and there is benefit to it.

Dental health is not only for Quality bred dogs!!!! Can be achieved if stayed on top of and fed a Healthy home cooked diet or Raw diet!!! Do not think all these dog food makers to be in your dogs best interest, just dog food alone wont be a solve all to each issue.

Baby Fiáin displaying what manners around horses should look like. This is also why teathering is so vital in training calmness in dogs. Crate training is also vital in mastering this skill as well. Then you work your way up to busier situations such as this. Even when these horses were dancing around excited for fresh grass Fiáin stayed calm, not fearful,not barking,not gagging at the leash to try to grab them. Its this behavior that I strive for with any dog I get my hands on. It just leads to a better time with your dog no matter the situation.

Got the best of the day before rain pushed in. Boarding dogs had a blast! Did 3 trips, Got a groom done on Luca for a break and went back out for a quick store run and then drop off Mr. Maxton and Winston. A successful day!!!

Lucy the Golden and Rocky Top the mix of all kinds having a absolute moment with one another! Lucy typically does not play to much. But she certainly was feeling it this day! Both boarded with me over NH School break. A wonderful week for dogs to work on dog etiquette as well as making lasting connections with other dogs.
