IT’S HERE! Welcome to my updated room tour - it was so so hard to get everything together at the same time and now I need to replenish all of my sprays lol

The top tank has my female mice (Dove, Hershey, Iris, Nami) and my ASF Simon. The bottom tank has my other ASF Theodore. The first Vista on the top left has Sesshomaru. Otho is below him. The top right belongs to Jack, and Madeleine is below him. The Bigger World on top is Grunk’s and the one next to him is Churro. Below them are Charlie and Angel. The stackers hold my male mice Johnny and Richard. The bin cage (used for medical reasons) is Juno’s and Asta is below her in the Vista.

My mice and ASFs have more hanging toys, grapevine, and cork logs on the way 💸 I’ve been promising this video for so long already and didn’t want to wait any longer.

I love being more entertaining to him than his enclosure 😅 sometimes it’s hard to believe he likes me even though I make weird noises at him, check his teeth, and brush his fur.

Jack got moved today! I still have to add some forage to his enclosure (I am running on zero energy right now) and put together my two stackers tomorrow morning for my male mice, but it’s all coming together.

The full tour will be released tomorrow once everything is done and I clean up the bedding tornado again.

I have gone back and forth about what to do with Jack (breeder contract home, pet home, or keep him here) for what feels like AGES… but Jack (I’ve been calling him Apple Jacks) had a glow up recently and it’s final - he’s staying here, even if things will be a little tight for a while. He’s currently one of the most cage content hamsters I have and has a laid back demeanor amongst what have otherwise been very clingy parrot hams here. His floof is amazing too. It’s so dense AND long which has been a hard combination to get in one hamster.

That aside, I got a ton of cleanings done tonight and just need to do 3 more hammy cleans and 3 more mouse/ASF cleans and then everyone will be on roughly the same cleaning schedule. Juno is doing better since I stopped her cardiac supplement and implemented electrolytes. She’s actually gained a few grams back and has regained enough energy to act like her demolition queen self again 🥰 Charlie’s bottom incisors are growing back in well and her top incisors have worn back down normally due to being able to perform natural grinding behaviors again. Everyone else (Grunk, Otho, Angel, Sesshomaru, Asta, Madeleine, and Churro) are continuing to do well!

You might have seen the post from about Fudge - I had planned to breed him to Madeleine in late December or sometime in January, but with his lack of interest in the ladies I’ll be coming up with a new game plan in the coming months. Stay tuned!

Without much help or encouragement from me, Asta has become a clingy parrot ham. It’s in his blood 🤪 I was working on some quick spot cleans tonight and had to stop to pay attention to this handsome little devil.

As for Charlie and Juno’s vet visit today - Charlie did not end up getting a tooth trim and we’re going to keep an eye on how they grow out for now. We’re stopping Juno’s cardiac supplement to see if it helps clear up her diarrhea since a component of it can have that as a side effect. She is getting electrolyte solution as well for some mild dehydration and we’re going to check in again with the vet Monday to see if anything further seems like it’s needed.
