It's been melancholy around here since last week.
But it's been a great distraction having Fendi to work with on her training. She has such a sweet temperament!! I don't know how she has not been swooped up yet!

🌈🐺💜 Our beautiful Opal 🌈💜🐺

Today we had another gut wrenching final goodbye to our sweet Opal. She naturally was the crowd favorite being an Irish Wolfhound as not very many people get to meet these incredible gentle giants. Our Opal got to help raise and nanny 6 incredible red Standard Poodle litters. This feels so surreal to be losing her so seemingly young at just shy of 7 years old but in the gentle giant old she was at the unfortunate shorter end of her life span. Through her health or deal she has been so so strong I don't know how she's been doing it but she was getting so exhausted here at the end. Opal came into our lives so seamlessly and wove herself beautifully into every part of our lives, our family's, and our friends. This truly is the worst part of ownership to be this selfless and emotionally strong until the end with part of our hearts which will never be the same. This is so freaking hard and we are again so broken.
We truly believe that God speaks to us in many different ways and for our family it's through huge signs that we just cannot ignore, today being a massive one. Today, December 11 is my boy Haku's heavenly 4th birthday. I just know that God had him waiting patiently for Opal as the pearly gates. I know that we most certainly will see them again. I am impatiently waiting for that day that our entire pack can finally be forever reunited.

To our most perfect gem Opal, we love you so very much.

Dixie update ✨💜

Dixie is thriving in her new home with her family!! Just look at these perfect photos of her at the shop with her mom!! I'm so happy for this little one her start in life was rocky but it's only smooth and wonderful from here!! I'm so thankful for this match with this family for Dixie, it was so so perfect!!!

PS. The PERFECT groom done by Get Your Dog Styled had Dixie looking her ultimate best!!

🥳💜👑TIANA HAS FOUND HER FOREVER FAMILY!!!

I'm feeling a bit emotional today! 🥹🐩💜 in many different ways but mostly happy that yesterday Tiana found the perfect match for her! Tiana (now Dixie) goes home soon and I just couldn't be more proud of this girls progress from where she was before in her humble beginnings!! Cheers to her bright new up and coming life!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Happy Halloween!

This post totally slipped my mind until now!!

Our sweet old gal Opal helped us keep the town safe by being the sherif werewolf for her costume! She was naturally a favorite among the parents and kiddos. No joke that most everyone bypassed my husband passing out the candy to ask to come pet and say hi to her 💜🐺 it's a bittersweet moment as this time last year we got to do this with my boy Haku before he passed of cancer. Knowing our sweet girl Opal this most likely will be her last time too (she has on going medical problems that are no longer able to be managed with medication) it definitely made us cry a little bit with the past and present memories made. But this was still another fun small event that our girl thoroughly enjoyed and that's what makes us so very happy! 💜🐺🩷

Wonderful Princess Tiana

Tiana is a beautiful and out going small intervariety 6 month old poodle puppy! She is full sized but still needs to gain a little bit of weight from her rescue, she should mature in that 25lbs range. Tiana has gone through and finished our 6 week puppy training program. She is a master cuddler on top of her obedience training to boot!!

Tiana had a wonderful weekend full of new experiences!! I'm so proud of her and her progress taking everything in and adapting so well!! Get Your Dog Styled got a hold of her and made her look like a real princess! 😍🙏🏼✨
