I haven’t taken the time to properly introduce you to Mr. Dinkles! 🖤

What a special kitty this kiddo will be for someone (so wish we could foster fail 🥹)! Back in August, I saw something flapping in the middle of the road. I could obviously tell it was an animal, but so many cars were running over it, I was unclear what the situation was. Once I parked & got out, this tiny kitten was open mouth breathing on the hot cement. I scooped him up, thankfully had a carrier in my car, & bolted to the vet. Once fully examined & cooled down, said kitty got a clean bill of health… which landed him a special spot at my house 🤣

Now a few months later & he’s ready for adoption! Mr. Dinkles is VERY animal social (as you can see), but also independent in the way he loves cuddles by humans or laying on the couch by himself. Just know that if he’s laying on top of you or next to you, without receiving pets, he WILL start licking you for attention. He is a very desensitized kitty at such a young age. Sounds & fast movements do not phase him. He loves catching flies & making chattering noises when one is in sight. He is very vocal & will have full on conversations with you about the weather or what’s for dinner. I say this every time, & I’m very humble about it (🤣), but we truly raise the best house cats. Mr. Dinkles would love a home where he’ll be indoors only, with kids to play & cuddle with &/or furry friends to snuggle with.

Mr. Dinkles will be getting neutered next week, first set of vaccines, & microchipped! He’ll be ready to go to his forever home in 1-2 weeks, depending on how his surgery recovery is.

While I introduce these two baby girls that just joined LHR, I figured I’d share that I’m pregnant with a baby girl!!! 🎀🤍🍼🌷✨
Another little animal lover & rescuer coming so soon!

These two baby girl piggies, however, need a foster home for the next 60 days, as we monitor them for possible pregnancy. They’re around 6-7 weeks old, Abyssinian Peruvian mixes. Will be available for adoption come Dec-ish. All supplies provided for fostering. Cannot be caged with personal guinea pigs. Must be within 30 minutes of Modesto & able to drive to Modesto.

Mr. Toodles went off to his forever home tonight, with a past LHR adopter & supporter!!! So happy for this kiddo, who was found near a dumpster & will now be spoiled for life.

Miss Minnie got stood up for adoption this weekend, & is searching for her forever home still 🥺 This sweet baby was one rescued from SoCal just a few months ago. She’s estimated around 5-6 months old & is a precious ham. Full of personality & s***k, Minnie would love to make you smile everyday 🤍

Can we take a moment for that ROUND little face?! Toodles is an American guinea pig around 5 months old with the sweetest personality to match his adorable looks.

Toodles came to us after being found roaming near busy streets in Manteca when he was only around 6–7 weeks old. His finder spotted him near a colony of cats & quickly scooped him up to keep him safe. When he arrived, he was extremely tiny & skinny with a few surface scratches, likely from a cat. Based on where & how he was found, we believe this little guy had been dumped nearby.

He LOVES to talk to people, to other piggies, basically anyone who will listen! He’s a social little guy who would love having another guinea pig friend & could also be a great addition to an existing herd.

WHERE HAVE I BEEN??
Life has been life-ing recently! I returned from a week long babymoon/vacay, which was SO needed. Upon returning however, my dog & 2 of my personal cats needed vet visits pretty urgently, with all different sorts of health issues 🫠 THEN while I was leaving the vet, I found a kitten hit by a car, in the middle of the road. But don’t worry, I rushed him into the vet & he’s perfectly normal 🥲 So looks like we have a new little foster kitten. I’ll have to share his full story + properly introduce him soon (kitty in photo). This cuddly purr-machine will be available for adoption in upcoming weeks!

I’ve been really trying to focus on my health though, as stuff keeps arising & rest is necessary. For the most part we are doing well 🤍 Thank you to everyone who has checked in!

Adoptions are still being held & we’ve had 4 hamsters find their forever homes this past week! 🐹 So many buns, hams, & piggies left for adoption, so if you’re considering bringing a furry friend into your life, now is the time to adopt!
