WHERE HAVE I BEEN??
Life has been life-ing recently! I returned from a week long babymoon/vacay, which was SO needed. Upon returning however, my dog & 2 of my personal cats needed vet visits pretty urgently, with all different sorts of health issues 🫠 THEN while I was leaving the vet, I found a kitten hit by a car, in the middle of the road. But don’t worry, I rushed him into the vet & he’s perfectly normal 🥲 So looks like we have a new little foster kitten. I’ll have to share his full story + properly introduce him soon (kitty in photo). This cuddly purr-machine will be available for adoption in upcoming weeks!

I’ve been really trying to focus on my health though, as stuff keeps arising & rest is necessary. For the most part we are doing well 🤍 Thank you to everyone who has checked in!

Adoptions are still being held & we’ve had 4 hamsters find their forever homes this past week! 🐹 So many buns, hams, & piggies left for adoption, so if you’re considering bringing a furry friend into your life, now is the time to adopt!

Well… Meap (now Milo) is officially off to his forever home! 🤍

We are SO happy for this little guy & maybe even happier that he only lives right down the street from me 😂 Plus, I have full visiting rights since one of our close friends adopted him!

One of the biggest things we wanted for Meap was a home with other animals, especially a dog. He absolutely LOVES having animal friends, & as you can see from the first photo… he wasted no time turning his new bestie into a pillow 🥹

The last photo is of Meap with my personal pets, who help us raise all of our foster babies. & I may be a little biased, but I can confidently say we raise some pretty amazing kittens 😆 Fearless, confident, social, & SO animal-friendly. Our pets really do help teach them how to be the best little companions.

We’re going to miss having Mr. Meap around!

Henry finally landed the home of his (& our) dreams! Congrats to Henry & his new family, who is spoiling him rotten!! 🤎

How is Henry still waiting for his forever family? 🥹 This adorable lionhead has the sweetest personality & so much love to give.

Henry is litter box trained & absolutely melts for head scratches (especially if you have treats with you!). He’s the kind of bunny who will quickly steal your heart 🤎

He’s approximately 1–2 years old & is searching for an indoor-only home where he can be loved for the rest of his life. He would do best as a single bun. While Henry isn’t neutered yet, we’re happy to help his future family get that taken care of through one of our partnering veterinarians.

Purrrfect little baby, Meap, will be searching for his forever home soon!
Meap is the most loveable, cuddly, & affectionate kitty to ever exist. He is constantly purring & making biscuits, along with being “an aggressive lover” as he head butts you on your face & legs. He’s great with large dogs & other cats. Definitely a gem of a kitty! He’s a quiet kitty, hence the name Meap, as just a little peep of a noise comes out. Great with the litter box & is used to free roaming in a home.

Meap will be getting neutered & microchipped next week, then ready to get comfy in his forever home. He’ll come with first set of shots as well.

National Guinea Pig Day is everyday here at LHR, but it seems fitting to bring you this week’s rescue story on today.

We received a call that a piggy was found roaming around some busy streets in Manteca. When the finder began approaching the piggy, they noticed a colony of cats beginning to approach or leave the piggy. She quickly scooped up the piggy & only had a plastic bowl to keep him in until we were able to step in.
Piggy came to us late in the evening, with only a speck of f***l & little urine. He is SKINNY & appears to have some surface level (thankfully) scratches from most likely a cat. He has the sweetest round face & appears to be 6-7 weeks old. Very tiny in body size & weight. We are confident this kiddo was dumped by the near by bushes or greenery. Thankfully he’s eating & drinking normal, with beautiful poops!
But now it’s time for your help! We need a cute name to welcome this kiddo into LHR 🐹🖤
