We are desperately in need of more foster homes throughout:

📍 Missoula
📍 Bitterroot Valley
📍 Helena
📍 Kalispell
📍 And surrounding Montana areas

Fosters are truly the backbone of rescue. Without foster homes, we cannot continue saying “yes” to dogs in need 💔

Many of the dogs we take in simply need:
🤍 A safe place to decompress
🤍 Love and patience
🤍 A couch to crash on
🤍 Temporary care while waiting for adoption

Some are easy, happy-go-lucky dogs.
Some need a little extra support.
All of them deserve safety 🐾

🐾💛 Punk Adoption Update! 💛🐾

This sweet girl went home this weekend and is already starting to settle into her new life beautifully. 🥹

Her new family has been taking her on walks with their other little dogs to help everyone bond, and it sounds like she’s doing amazing so far. She likes relaxing out on the deck and in the grass, and showing just how gentle and loving she really is to her new family.

🚨 EMERGENCY FOSTER NEEDED — BONDED PAIR 🚨

These two sweet dogs are in Mesquite, Nevada and urgently need help 💔

Their owner was recently hospitalized and sadly will not be returning home. The hospice nurse reached out because their owner’s biggest concern right now is simply making sure her dogs are safe and cared for before she passes 🥺

🐾 One male, one female
🐾 Littermates
🐾 Approximately 4 years old
🐾 Believed to be fixed
🐾 VERY sweet and sensitive dogs
🐾 MUST stay together

Right now, they have nowhere to go. We are willing to help transport them up, but we desperately need a foster willing to open their home to this bonded pair 🤍

Imagine losing your person and your home all at once… these dogs are going through a massive life change and truly need stability, patience, and kindness right now.

🤍🐾 A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE PEOPLE WHO HELPED SAVE OBI-WAN 🐾🤍

We want to take a moment to recognize some truly incredible people who stepped up for Obi-Wan before he ever made it to the United States 💛

These amazing humans helped rehabilitate Obi-Wan, transport him, get him veterinary care, house him, medicate him, advocate for him, and ultimately help get him safely from Tijuana, Mexico to the US 🥹

Without people like this working on the ground, dogs like Obi-Wan simply would not survive.

This photo was taken the day he was rescued… and you can truly see the exhaustion in his eyes 💔

Tijuana is overwhelmed with stray, abandoned, neglected, and suffering dogs. The need there is absolutely heartbreaking, and these individuals continue helping as many dogs as they possibly can despite limited resources.

They need support too.

🐾💛 Bella & Sassy Are Home 💛🐾

After nearly 4 months in rescue, two of our longest residents have officially found the soft landing they deserved all along. 🥹

Bella and Sassy came to us from an extreme neglect situation — physically, emotionally, and medically. Bella’s body showed years of being overlooked. She underwent multiple surgeries to remove cancerous and non-cancerous tumors, and through it all remained one of the sweetest girls imaginable. Now, she’s healthy, healing beautifully, spayed, and finally getting to experience comfort and peace. No more puppies. No more surviving. Just being loved. 💛

Sassy has also been spayed and is slowly learning what life in a home looks like. Their adopter shared that Bella is absolutely loving sleeping inside, while Sassy is still a little nervous about coming through the door and prefers spending her days outside for now. And that’s okay — dogs like these teach us that healing doesn’t happen overnight.

What matters is they are safe.
They are loved.
And for the first time in a very long time, they get to simply be dogs. ❤️

Happy tails, sweet girls. You both deserved this so much. 🐾

🐾🤍 NOT EVERY DOG IN RESCUE WAS “ABUSED” 🤍🐾

This might surprise people… but not every dog that ends up in rescue came from a horrible home.

Sometimes life simply happens.

We see dogs surrendered because of:
💔 Medical emergencies
💔 Divorce
💔 Housing loss
💔 Death in the family
💔 Financial hardship
💔 Elderly owners no longer physically able to care for them

And honestly?
Many owners are absolutely heartbroken having to make that decision.

Not every surrender is because someone “didn’t care.” Sometimes surrendering a dog is actually someone trying to do the responsible thing when they know they can no longer provide the life that dog deserves.

Of course, we DO also see neglect and poor situations. But rescue is often far more complicated and emotional than people realize.

A little compassion can go a long way 🐾🤍

We came back from the weekend and just said… WOW. 🥹🐾

You guys are truly amazing. Thank you SO much for all the donations that showed up for the dogs this weekend.

…and so many other needed items.

🎉🐾 59 DOGS ADOPTED IN 2026 SO FAR 🐾🎉

FIFTY NINE.

59 dogs who now have warm beds, full bellies, safe homes, and families who love them 🤍

Some came to us neglected.
Some medically complex.
Some scared.
Some overlooked for months.
Some only hours away from euthanasia.

And some?
Some were just happy-go-lucky goofy dogs who simply needed a second chance and the right people to find them 💛

And now?
They’re HOME 🥹

None of this happens without our incredible community — our fosters, adopters, transporters, donors, volunteers, veterinary partners, and every single person who shares our posts and cheers these dogs on along the way 💛

Rescue can be exhausting and heartbreaking at times, but moments like this remind us why we keep going.

59 lives changed already this year… and we’re just getting started 🐾
