😺 It's Kitten Season! And we need kitten fosters! 😺

This means more kittens are being brought to our shelter. We need fosters to give them temporary housing and care until they are old enough for adoption.

Fostering is free! Missoula Animal Services provides all the materials: food, toys, and litter boxes. You provide them a safe place to stay.

Happy Tails: Stanley

Stanley was surrended to our shelter earlier this year at only a few months old. One of our Animal Control officers kindly fostered him until his forever family came along.

At first, Stanley was timid in his new home, but his new sister Onyx, helped him realize the world isn't so scary. Now the two of them spend their days hiking, snuggling, and adventuring through life.

The shelter is located at 6700 Butler Creek Road off West Broadway and is open 12 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 12 to 4 p.m. Saturday. Note: The shelter is under construction and parking may be limited.

Tomorrow! 🐾 Please join us at the shelter on Friday, June 20 for a free, walk-in vaccine clinic from 3-6pm (the shelter will be closed for adoptions Friday). We will be providing core vaccines, rabies vaccines and microchips for dogs and cats! Annual vaccines have been generously donated by .

Meet Coco!

She was featured on the big screen during Woof Wednesday at the Missoula PaddleHeads game! Coco is 6-years-old. She's an independent gal who could live in a home with another calm dog who gives her space. She loves going for walks and does well on a leash. She will follow her nose to sniff everything! She might be 6, she has the energy to be a great hiking buddy and adventure companion.

Coco has been at the shelter since April. We don’t know why this sweet lady is still here! Visit Missoula Animal Services Monday - Friday, 12pm to 5:30 pm and Saturday 12pm - 4 pm.

If you can’t adopt, but want to help our shelter residents, please consider donating to our shelter expansion project, for indoor/outdoor kennels for our dogs, additional rooms for our cats, a bigger lobby, and meeting rooms for you to meet adoptable pets!
