Here at Huber’s Taxidermy we love mule deer. This is the last batch of deer from 2025 plus a little extra love for my show mule deer from this spring that I won best of category’s with and both North Dakota South Dakota taxidermy competition’s as well as the best mule deer award at the North Dakota show!! Turn around times are short right now so if you got anything you’ve been on the fence about getting mounted shoot me a message!!!

The straight upright might not be the most popular pose anymore, but it’s a classic for a reason. Sometimes, sticking to the basics is fun, even with all the new options out there.

That’s a wrap on 2026 show season! I am beyond grateful for all I have achieved this year. The knowledge and friendships that were gained are invaluable.
At the North Dakota show I was awarded a best of category in large game head with my mule deer in the pro division as well as the best mule deer award. Every piece I brought was given a first place ribbon earning me the competitors award.
In South Dakota I was rewarded a best of category in whitetail, large game head, as well as upland. My whitetail earned me the pro 1 award as well as the best professional white tail award. Just like in ND every piece I brought earned a first place ribbon which helped me earn the competitors award again. It was a great year of competition and I can’t wait to do it all over again next year.
As a lot of you may know I have been living in Grand Forks for the past few years working for a very knowledgeable taxidermist and learning as much as I can. I’m very grateful for the time I had there but the time has come for me to move back to Minot and go full time at Huber’s Taxidermy. I appreciate all my past, present, and future clients and can’t wait to see where I can take this dream of mine
