🐾 Meet Phoebe! 🐈

Phoebe is a stunning girl with vivid green eyes and a quiet strength that tells the story of everything she’s overcome. Rescued from a hoarding situation with over 100 cats, she arrived in heartbreaking condition—underweight, matted, and in desperate need of care. Her name is a playful nod to her beginnings (yes, inspired by “Smelly Cat”), but Phoebe today is all about resilience, healing, and a personality that’s finally able to shine.

With time, patience, and proper medical support, Phoebe has blossomed. Her coat is soft and full again, she’s at a healthy weight, and her quirky, expressive nature has come to life. She’s a chatty girl with a little sass—especially if meals are late or she feels overlooked—and she isn’t shy about sharing her opinions. Phoebe loves ear and butt scratches, enjoys the occasional belly rub (on her terms), and has a wonderful, rumbling purr.

Phoebe does have ongoing medical needs. She requires a strict prescription diet and a daily medication she will likely need long-term. Both are manageable, and she does well with her routine, but she’ll need a committed adopter to keep her thriving.

She would do best as the only cat in a calm home, likely without small children. Phoebe enjoys wand toys, catnip, and lounging beside you on the couch. While not quite a lap cat, she loves being close and will lean in for affection—making her an incredibly rewarding companion.

Meet Cordelia! ❤️

Cordelia is a three-year-old, small mixed-breed sweetheart with a beautiful brown-and-white coat and an even more beautiful personality. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who believes snuggles are a full-time job, Cordelia may just be your perfect match.

This adorable girl gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, kids, and strangers alike. Her easygoing, affectionate nature makes her a great fit for many different types of families. Whether you're spending the day relaxing at home or heading out on an adventure, Cordelia is happy to be right by your side.

Cordelia has a calm, cuddly personality and loves being close to her people whenever possible. While she enjoys a good adventure now and then, she's just as content curled up on the couch soaking up attention. She is fully potty trained and has excellent house manners. Although she's not a huge fan of being crated, she does very well when left out and settles nicely in the home.

One of Cordelia's favorite things in the world is bedtime. She loves sleeping right alongside her people and will happily claim her spot under the blankets with her head on the pillow. She's the kind of dog who makes every night feel a little cozier and every day a little brighter.

Cordelia sheds very little, barks only occasionally to get your attention, and has a gentle, loving personality that wins over everyone she meets.

If a microchipped pet gets lost and turned into a veterinary clinic, animal shelter, or rescue organization, the information on the microchip will allow rescuers to contact you and reunite you with your pet.

June is National Microchipping Month, and there’s no time like the present to get your animal friends microchipped. For pets already microchipped, check that their chip’s ID number is active and that the contact information is kept up-to-date.

Tomorrow marks the start of a brand-new chapter for Sparky! ❤️

We're incredibly grateful for everyone who has donated, shared her story, and cheered her on along the way. Thanks to your support, Sparky is getting the surgery she needs and moving one step closer to the future she deserves.

Meet Capri Sun! ☀️🐾

Just like her name, Capri Sun is a burst of fun, energy, and sweetness wrapped up in a gorgeous brindle coat! At just under a year old, this happy-go-lucky girl is ready to find a forever family to share all of life’s adventures with.

Capri is a true social butterfly who loves everyone she meets. People, kids, dogs, even dog-savvy cats — Capri is happiest when she’s surrounded by friends. She loves being part of whatever her humans are doing and will gladly follow you around the house to make sure she doesn’t miss out on any fun.

This playful pup has a medium activity level but a big zest for life. She loves spending time outdoors, exploring the yard, and playing with her canine buddies. She even seems to have a special love for water — bring out the hose on a warm day and you’ll have one very happy dog!

Capri is crate trained and sleeps quietly in her kennel overnight or when her family is away. She’s still putting the finishing touches on her house training and leash skills, but she’s making great progress every day. Like any young dog, she’ll benefit from a family willing to continue her training and help her become the best version of herself.

Capri would thrive with an active family that enjoys walks, outdoor time, and including their dog in everyday life. A fenced yard would be a bonus, but her biggest wish is simply a family that will love her as much as she’ll love them.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, abandoned, abused, and neglected companion animals. However, we are only able to help as many dogs and cats as we have open foster home for. We’re always looking for new foster families!

There is no cost to you, other than your time and the cost of transporting your animal to appointments or events. Twin Cities Pet Rescue provides all the basic supplies, support, and vetting for our foster animals.

We’re collecting drink cans, cat food cans, and soup cans to help raise funds for the animals in our care. Every can donated helps us provide food, medical care, and shelter for homeless pets waiting for their forever families.

Before donating, please give cans a quick rinse and drop them off anytime in the silver rolling bin behind our unit.

🐾 Meet Turks! 🐈

Turks is a handsome grey shorthaired boy with a plush coat, gorgeous orange eyes, and an irresistibly big round head that’s perfect for gentle pats.

Turks is initially cautious around new people and environments, but it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. He is the kind of cat who fits right in—social and sweet. Turks enjoys being around people and will happily keep you company whether you’re relaxing on the couch or moving about your day.

Turks gets along well with other cats and would likely do just fine with calmer, respectful dogs. He’s also a great match for families with kids, thanks to his easygoing and friendly nature. Playtime is one of his favorite parts of the day—he loves chasing toys, rolling in catnip, and exploring new corners of his home.

And when it comes to food? Turks is definitely a fan. Treats, mealtime, snacks—he’s always interested and ready to enjoy.

Silverware is truly a once-in-a-lifetime cat. The kind of cat who leaves an impression on everyone she meets and quickly becomes impossible to forget.

She came to rescue heavily pregnant and gave birth to her kittens just days after arriving. From the very beginning, she proved herself to be an incredible mother. Sweet, patient, and endlessly devoted, Silverware poured her heart into raising her babies. But her love didn't stop there. During her time in rescue, she welcomed multiple orphaned kittens into her family, caring for them as if they were her own without hesitation. Watching her nurture and protect every kitten placed in her care has been nothing short of remarkable.

Of course, Silverware is much more than an amazing mom.

She also happens to be absolutely hilarious.

This girl has opinions, and she isn't afraid to share them. She's wonderfully chatty, full of sass, and always ready to tell her people exactly what's on her mind. Whether she's supervising household activities, demanding attention, or inserting herself into the center of whatever is happening, Silverware has a way of making every day more entertaining. Her larger-than-life personality keeps everyone laughing, while her affectionate nature makes it impossible not to fall completely in love with her.

It's no surprise that she's become a favorite among everyone who has had the privilege of knowing her.

Now that her kittens are growing up, it's finally Silverware's turn. After dedicating so much of her life to caring for others, she's ready to be spoiled, cherished, and loved exactly the way she deserves.

While she may do well with a calm feline companion after a slow introduction, Silverware would likely be happiest as the queen of her castle, soaking up all the attention for herself.

Her future family should be prepared for endless conversation, plenty of laughs, and a loyal companion who will brighten even the most ordinary days.

We adore this special girl and cannot wait to see her find the forever home she has worked so hard to earn.
