𝐸𝓂𝒾𝓁𝑒𝑒 𝒲𝑒𝓁𝓁𝓈 - 𝐻𝑜𝓅𝓀𝒾𝓃𝓈 𝒮𝒶𝓁𝑜𝓃 𝒮𝓉𝓎𝓁𝒾𝓈𝓉 🫧✂️

Emilee began her grooming career in February 2018 at Petco. From a young age, she knew she wanted to work with animals, though she wasn’t initially certain in what capacity. She once considered becoming a veterinarian, but quickly realized that working with animals in pain and navigating the emotional challenges of that field was not the right fit for her.

Her passion ultimately led her to grooming, where she found both fulfillment and connection. She especially enjoys deshedding treatments, hand stripping, and creating fluffy doodle and poodle-style cuts. One of the most rewarding aspects of her work is building trust with the pets in her care and watching them grow comfortable and even get excited to see her over time.

She values the unique relationships she’s able to form with dogs she might not otherwise have the opportunity to know, given the nature of working with such a high volume of pets.

She first joined Zoom Groom at the end of 2021 and remained there until March of 2023. During that time, she relocated to Florida while expecting her first child. After a few months, she realized Minnesota truly felt like home and made the decision to return. Now settled back, she’s here to stay.

Looking ahead, she hopes to pursue competition grooming and explore opportunities in dog showing as she continues to grow in her craft.

𝑅𝑜𝓍𝒶𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝒪𝓁𝓈𝑜𝓃 - 𝐼𝓃𝓋𝑒𝓇 𝒢𝓇𝑜𝓋𝑒 𝐻𝑒𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉𝓈 𝒮𝒶𝓁𝑜𝓃 𝑀𝒶𝓃𝒶𝑔𝑒𝓇 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝐿𝑒𝒶𝒹 𝒮𝓉𝓎𝓁𝒾𝓈𝓉 🫧✂️

Roxy has been grooming since 1985. At just 18 years old, she stepped in as an emergency bather for a family friend and never looked back. What started as helping out quickly became a lifelong passion.

Raised by an equine photographer mother and a zookeeper father, Roxy grew up on farms and in nature centers, surrounded by animals of all kinds. Caring for animals isn’t just her career it’s who she is.

Roxy will celebrate her one-year anniversary with Zoom Groom this April 1st. She is Fear Free Certified and has a special place in her heart for small dogs with special needs; whether they’re seniors, anxious pups, or just a little extra diva. Her calm, patient approach helps even the most sensitive dogs feel safe and cared for.

When she’s not at the salon, Roxy is still surrounded by animals spending time with her two cats, Sheldon and Casey, her dogs Nova and Butter, and her mare Pepper, who she loves riding and visiting at the barn. She also enjoys adventuring with her daughter and grand-dog, and expressing her creativity through art in her spare time.

Shelly has been grooming for nine years and has been part of the Zoom Groom team for nearly seven of those. What started as a job she thought would be a fun, short-term stop between what she considered “real jobs” turned into the discovery of a truly fulfilling career.

As Shelly has grown in this profession, she’s found that she has really enjoyed stepping into a management role. Over the next few years, she’s excited not only to continue refining her grooming skills, but also to deepen her ability to lead and support our fantastic Zoom Groom team. Shelly genuinely love’s the team we’ve built here and looks forward to watching everyone grow, learn, and expand their skill sets. One of her favorite parts of coming to work each day is the kindness, encouragement, and support she see’s shared among our team members.

Shelly’s favorite dogs to groom are senior dogs and puppies coming in for their very first baths, and she especially loves hand stripping!

A few fun facts about Shelly: Shelly own’s and show’s horses, competing in some fun “cowboy-style” events. Shelly is also a lifelong learner and love’s reading and listening to nonfiction on a wide range of topics from historical shipwrecks to books about fungi.
