S’mores is about 6 months old, a mix of German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, and American Pit Bull Terrier. He came up from Texas as a tiny pup and is already 60 lbs (and still growing!)—this boy will be big!

What you need to know about S’mores:

✨Potty trained + knows basic commands from obedience training

Meet Twinky!
Twinky is a 5-month-old shepherd mix (possibly with a dash of Pyrenees!) who’s equal parts sweet and shy. Once he warms up, his playful side really shines—he absolutely loves romping with other dogs and exploring the world around him.
He’s a curious pup who’s already showing off his natural herding instincts, gently guiding his canine friends around the house. Twinky is also great at “speaking” his mind—literally! He’ll let out a little bark to let the other dogs know his boundaries, and it’s as hilarious as it is endearing.
This goofy, thoughtful boy is ready to find a family who will embrace his gentle nature, playful spirit, and big puppy heart. 💛

Hey folks, I am a one of kind silly and spry senior looking to be the apple of your eye! I am great with both men and women, so as long as you’re willing to dote on me I can have any variety of human parents! I spent most of my life with my dad, who sadly had to give me up when moving into a care home. He sure was happy to hear that OPARI was helping me find my forever home, though!

I was a bit of a mess when I first joined the rescue. I had some pateches of missing hair, and was pretty overweight. I had been eating a concoction of hot dogs and some other things for meals for a long time, but I took to dog food well. I must share that the wet variety is my favorite, so if we could top kibble with some that would be ideal.
I shed a couple pounds, and my hair grew back beautifully once I started eating like a normal dog. I also had a dental! I lost some teeth, but it took care of this horrible abscess I had, and I am so much more comfortable!

Now- onto the 🌶️🌶️🌶️
You’ll hear the rescue talk about decompression often.
While I joined my foster home as the goodest girl, I got comfortable after awhile.
I am still a top notch doggo, and am fostered with many others- but ideally I need to go back to being someone’s one and only like I was my entire life before being surrendered.

For whatever reason, both in my foster home and at a temp foster’s I have chosen one dog out of a large group I am DETERMINED to get up close and personal with whether they like it or not.
If a dog I fixate on doesn’t wanna be friends and they get scrappy- its on!
Thats no way for any of us to live, so please- if you’re considering applying, we kindly ask that you look at other dogs if your home already contains any.
Cats are also a no go for me, sorry.
My final demand is that you let me sleep in your bed. I did so my whole life with my previous owner, and I am a cuddle bug. I promise to love hard, be good in the car, and keep you laughing. I have the cutest little grunts, and will nibble your nose lovingly if we are being silly! I also have a signature move simply called "the crawl" I think you'll love!
