My friends recently had to put down their cat, which can be very costly. MADAC and the Wisconsin Humane Society both offer cheaper alternatives if you are dealing with this difficult situation. They will receive a clay paw print and it was $150 at MADAC vs about $500 having it done at an outside vet’s office because you have to bury or cremate them.

As snow and ice move in, beware that salt is harmful to pets! Always wipe down pets’ paws after salt exposure. For those who have the option to choose their own ice melt, they do make several pet safe options. Just google pet safe ice melt. 😻🐶
