This month, we’re thrilled to recognize Sheryl for her incredible dedication and enthusiasm as a USO volunteer!
Sheryl has been an essential part of our Wisconsin Outreach team, helping prep for programs big and small, from large community celebrations to quick pop-up events. No matter the size of the task, she brings positivity, attention to detail, and a true passion for supporting our service members and their families.

This weekend, Green Bay Packers players, Zayne Anderson, Darrian Kinnard, Clayton Tune, and Josh Whyle joined us in Appleton for our Day of the Deployed – Little Heroes Celebration.
The players spent the evening painting faces, playing basketball, and writing letters alongside families whose loved ones are currently deployed overseas. The Packers time and energy brought so many smiles and reminders that our deployed service members are not forgotten and neither are their families. Big thank you to the Green Bay Packers, MISSION BBQ and Dunkin' Donuts, Fleet Farm and volunteers for your support with honoring Day of the Deployed.

This past weekend we celebrated Fall Fest at Fort McCoy. From crafts and cider to connecting with our 181 families, it was a beautiful fall night.
A huge thank-you to all our volunteers who helped make this event happen — your time, energy, and smiles make all the difference.

Tee off for our heroes! ⛳ Join The USO Golf-a-Thon and raise critical funds for deployed service members. Now through November 1, 2025, hit the links to show your gratitude for the men and women in uniform who keep us safe, both near and far. This peer-to-peer fundraiser is self-driven, meaning you can play anywhere at any time to show your appreciation. Play as many rounds or holes as you can in recognition of Day of the Deployed on October 26 and set a personal goal to fundraise online through your network of friends, family and colleagues.
