Happy Fundraising Friday

Before an adult cat is adopted, there’s real medical care happening behind the scenes.

Full vetting can cost $200–$350 per cat—covering exams, spay/neuter, vaccines, testing, and more. For seniors, that often includes additional lab work.

While some cats need less, when care is needed—we don’t cut corners.

Adoption fees only cover a portion:
$150 (6 months–7 years)
$75 (8+ years)

The reality? Especially for senior cats, we often operate at a loss.

❤️ Rizzo has gone home! ❤️

After everything this sweet girl has been through, we’re so happy to share that Rizzo is finally living the good life. 🏡🐾

Rizzo came to us needing a leg amputation and with a broken jaw. Her road to recovery was not an easy one, but she showed incredible strength and determination every step of the way.

Today, we get to say the words we’ve been hoping for: Rizzo has found her forever home! 🥹

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped Rizzo along her journey — the people who donated, shared her story, sent good wishes, provided care, and cheered her on. She truly had an entire team behind her.

Now it’s time for Rizzo to put her difficult past behind her and enjoy the life she deserves: safe, loved, spoiled, and home. 🐶💕

Three tiny neonates, one incredible rescue team effort. 🐾❤️

These three little ones are 9 days old and doing well! Their story is a wonderful example of what can happen when rescues, volunteers, and medical teams all work together.

While the babies were being transferred, Mom escaped and took off. Our medical officer immediately took the babies into care. Thankfully, another volunteer was able to safely trap Mom.

We tried to reunite Mom with her babies, hoping they could stay together. Unfortunately, Mom rejected them, so the babies returned to our medical director that same day.

It may not have been the reunion we hoped for, but these three are safe, receiving the care they need, and growing stronger every day. ❤️

A pretty amazing rescue story—and a great reminder that teamwork saves lives! Thank you to everyone who stepped in to help these little ones. 🍼🐾
