💕🐾 PLEASE SHARE A Day in the Life of Gracie 🐾💕
Hi friends! My name is Gracie 🐕and I thought I’d share what a perfect day looks like for me 💕
☀️ First thing in the morning, I wake up snuggled next to my foster mom with my foster brother nearby. Breakfast is VERY exciting! I eat slowly and carefully while keeping an 👀 on everything around me. I dine separately from my foster brother because that’s just the smart thing to do for dogs sharing a 🏠 — but don’t worry, I’ve always been a polite lady about food and treats 😊
🌿 After breakfast, we head out to the fenced yard for potty time. I’m quick about my business because there are important things to do… like sniffing all the fresh morning smells!
🚗 Then comes one of my FAVORITE parts of the day — CAR RIDE TIME! My foster mom takes me to peaceful walking spots, and the state park in Milton is my absolute favorite. I ❤️ strolling along, sniffing everything, and soaking in the sights and smells. Daily exercise keeps this girl happy! 🐕
💻 After my walk, we head home for my foster mom’s workday. Luckily, she works from home, so I get lots of potty breaks, attention, and time to relax nearby while she works.
🚘 Once work is over, I’m ready for another adventure! The second I hear those car 🔑 , I’m excited all over again because I know another walk is coming. Honestly, I also just ❤️ riding in the 🚗 with the wind in my face and all the smells drifting by 😍
🍽️ Dinner comes next, followed by more outdoor time if the weather is nice. Sometimes I zoom around the yard or try playing with toys. I’m still figuring toys out, but I’m trying my best 😂
🦴 Evenings are for relaxing. I might enjoy a Kong, lick mat, or a nice 🦴 to chew while we lounge together quietly.
🌙 Before bed, I get my nightly 💊 with yogurt (yum!) and then it’s back to bed for more cozy 😴 . I really ❤️ a calm, quiet, predictable life — it makes me feel safe and happy ❤️
Doesn’t that sound like a pretty wonderful day? 🐾
🐾🐾I would not need a home that can provide this exact type of schedule, I can be flexible.😁 The most important thing is that my family understands that I need to feel safe.
An ideal 🏠 would have another 🐕, preferably calm and confident, a fenced in yard would be wonderful, and people who like to go for hikes with their 🐕 would be a great start to a furever 🏠!
🐾🐾My foster mom has worked through a lot of my initial challenges and helped to identify what works for me so all I need now is someone who wants me to be their furever 🐕 One might get me there, I hope you will this post to help me find my very own family!
