🎉🐾 PLEASE HELP US WELCOME BINGO TO 4 PAWS SAKE PA! 🐾🎉

Meet Bingo! 🍀 This handsome little guy is just 9 months old and ready to start his next chapter! ❤️

Bingo joined our rescue after a change in his humans' living situation meant they could no longer keep him. While we're still getting to know this sweet boy, he's already letting us in on a few of his favorite things!

🎾 TOYS, TOYS, TOYS! Bingo LOVES playing with toys!🐶 He enjoys playing with other dogs, especially those closer to his own size.🦴 He's a big fan of treats, which definitely come in handy when making new friends!
🐾 Bingo can be a bit vocal when first meeting new people. A few tasty treats usually help quiet those initial concerns. Men, however, take a little more time to win him over. He's a little more cautious and needs some extra patience when getting acquainted with them.

🩺 Bingo has his first vet appointment with us this Friday! Although he's been to a vet previously, we'll be getting him in for a wellness check to make sure everything is looking good.

You'll notice his little nose is a bit scratched up. We suspect this may have happened when he tried to escape a crate in his previous home. ❤️

We're going to take some time to get to know Bingo, learn all about his personality, and discover what kind of home will make his tail wag the happiest! 🐕💕

Stay tuned as we share more about this adorable boy!
Welcome to the 4 Paws Sake PA family, Bingo! We can't wait to see what your next chapter brings! 🏡❤️🐾

🌞🌝 Time Changes 🌝🌞

💥 Daylight saving time changes disrupt your pet's internal circadian rhythm (natural biological clock), causing early waking, schedule confusion, and whining or begging at mealtimes.

🌚 How It Affects Animals:

🌜Circadian Cues: Pets rely on sunlight, hunger, and daily habits rather than human clocks.
🌜 Behavioral Shifts: You might notice pacing, restlessness, clinginess, or early-morning wake-up calls.
🌜 Digestive Impact: Sudden mealtime shifts can lead to mild stomach upset, gas, or changes in bathroom routines.
🌜 Medication Schedules: Timed doses for conditions like epilepsy or diabetes require care to avoid improper dosing.

🌎 How to Help Them Adjust

🌑 Shift Gradually: Move feeding, walks, and bedtimes by 10 to 15 minutes each day during the week before the clock changes.
🌑 Use Split Portions: If you switch all at once, give a small "appetizer" portion at the old mealtime and serve the rest later.
🌑 Keep Patience and Calm: Offer extra affection, puzzle toys, or exercise to help burn off restless energy while they adapt over a few days to a couple weeks.
🌑 Consult Your Vet: Talk to your veterinarian if your pet takes critical, time-sensitive medications to be safe.
