🐕‍🦺 The journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step!

🐾 Meet Forest, the Löwchen puppy who is enrolled in our Service Dog Training Program! You will be seeing a lot of Forest as he grows up and goes through the many levels of training camps needed to become a successful service dog for his handler, Diann!

❤️ Forest is starting his training with puppy basics and is doing absolutely amazing, and we are so excited for his future!

🦴 Service Dogs are task trained to help their owner / handler mitigate a disability and their extensive, high level training takes a total of 1.5 to 2 years to complete.

🐾 Service dogs need to have a super confident, stable temperament to be able to perform their tasks and remain calm in any and every situation to help their handler.

🐕‍🦺 We breed and train labradors, but we do occasionally work with other dogs from breeders who have the same standards for health testing, socialization, and temperament testing that we do in order to really set dogs and handlers up to success!

🌲 Forest came from a breeder who does everything possible to have healthy puppies with great temperaments. Diann needed a smaller dog for service work, so we helped match her with a Löwchen - an amazing little companion breed who is smart, biddable, and capable of service work.

💨 Windy is a 10 month old service dog in training with us!

➡️ Service dogs need to be extremely stable, intelligent, and enjoy working with their handlers.

🐾 Windy's litter was selectively bred for these attributes from health tested, structurally sound parents, and he was one of the puppies chosen based on individual temperament testing for service work.

❤️ Windy went through an in-depth socialization program along with his littermates with us from the day he was born and began basic training concepts at a very young age, and we have built upon his skills as he has aged, and he has passed every test to become a service dog in training.

➡️ Windy will spend the next year out with his trainer working on proofing his skills in a variety of environments and will be matched with a disabled handler and taught tasks to mitigate his new handler's disabilities

🖤 Service dog training is a very involved process because in order to truly be someone's lifeline, a service dog needs to be perfectly trained to perform his tasks in any and every environment

❣️ We have puppies! If anyone is interested in adding a new family member, we have a beautiful litter of black labs and have availability as of now! These should be medium energy puppies who will make great family companions!

🐾 Health tested parents (hips, elbows, eyes, advanced cardiac, DNA)

🐾 Titled parents to prove temperament and intelligence / biddability - dad is an AKC conformation champion with his Canine good citizen and temperament test titles. Mom is pointed in UKC conformation and has her AKC novice obedience, advanced rally, and junior dock diving titles

🐾 Raised with extensive socialization protocols by professional dog trainers and introduced to a ton of new sights, sounds, people, environments, objects, and experiences

🐾 Started on training foundations with the option for an additional head start program

🐾 Pre-paid AKC registration and microchips. Puppy raising guide written by us and discounted future training camp stays with us.
