Years ago, a dog with bloat was given a 50-50 chance of surviving if he could walk into a vet hospital. Many were too weak and had to be carried in, and they often died. As of 2021, bloat still kills about 30 percent of the dogs it affects, even after extremely intensive treatment. It's a scourge. We've shared videos here before of what a dog that is bloating looks like (you can You Tube it), but we've not shared this chart before and perhaps some of you will find it helpful.
