I have waited what felt like forever for this foal! I was already in love with his Dam and his Sire. So when I found out the mare took! I called bids right away! Lol!

As most may know, my daughter Mesa Trupp had made it through the Missouri High School Rodeo Association finishing out with two 1st place champion buckles in the High school Girls cutting 1st Go & in the 2026 cutting finals over all. 3 checks and a headstall and of course her qualifier jacket.

Although Mesa qualified to go to National High School Rodeo Finals. She had chosen to go a different route,

Indeed, breeding involves more than just the stallion.

A few tips during breeding season:

• Give your ovulation agent the night before your semen arrives. If your mare isn’t ovulating within about 24 hours of insemination, your chances of settling can decrease. Another option is having your vet monitor her closely and breed post-ovulation within 12 hours. I’ve had really good luck with that.

• Oxytocin is your friend for mares that hold fluid. So is lunging and getting them moving around.

• If your mare isn’t settling, please do a culture. Continuing to breed a dirty mare is expensive and usually just wastes time and money.

• I’ve had great luck treating dirty mares with Uniprim along with Ceragyn lavages.

• Always confirm ovulation.

• If you have a “maiden” mare, please don’t assume she isn’t dirty. Some of the dirtiest mares I’ve dealt with have actually been maidens.

• Please don’t inseminate two doses at the same time. If you’re fortunate enough to have two doses, especially over a weekend, breed on Saturday. If she hasn’t ovulated and still looks clean with no fluid, use the second dose on Sunday.

We’re finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel for breeding season. Hang in there—hopefully everyone gets those mares settled!

This exceptional equine presents an ideal opportunity for those seeking a versatile and skilled partner for team sorting, all-around ranch riding and rodeo companion. He has had professional cutting horse training, this gelding has also served as a reliable turn-back horse. He is extremely well-broke and very cowy.

Duck demonstrates the ability to remain idle for just about anything you put him through. Since he has been in our care my kids 15 & 18 has riden him ba****ck, rode down the road at night and has introduced swinging a rope and roping the dummy. He is a working horse.

Due to his owner going into back surgery and not able to continue with him. We just simply don't want such a great horse to sit and go to waist or get behind. Pictures and videos will be posted down below.
