Hi everyone! I figured I should reintroduce myself since things have changed and I have gained many more followers. (Thank you all!)

My name is Haylee and I am a licensed massage therapist with a certification in equine massage. I got into massage therapy to help people and horses get out of pain and improve quality of life/performance.

I took the leap to pursue my license to receive an in-depth education on the entire body. Equine and human anatomy are extremely similar, so everything I learned about humans applies to our equine friends.

🚨 HOT TAKE 🚨

‼️ ‼️What sets massage therapy apart from other treatments?‼️ ‼️

✨As a licensed massage therapist I attended school for 750 hours (12 months) at an accredited program. Once I graduated, I had to pass a state exam to obtain my license. I am required by law to continue my education to maintain my license.

✨I have stated this information to say that you cannot replace a trained set of hands. Nothing is going to be better than hands on your horse's body feeling the issues, a trained eye watching their gait, and knowledge to create a customized treatment plan. I do think all of the different machines and tools (pemf, bemer, etc) are great for maintenance, but they should not be your main form of therapy for your horse.
