Two Hearts Left Behind, Still Waiting for Love

These two beautiful souls, Sam and Gilles, just lost the one person who meant the world to them—their beloved human. In an instant, their world changed. Now they wait, confused and grieving, for someone to fill that empty space with love and comfort again.

Meet Sam.
This sweet 11-year-old pit mix may have a few gray hairs and a few old-soul quirks, but his loyalty runs deep. He’s calm, gentle, and incredibly devoted once he learns to trust you. He’s leery of some men at first, but with patience and kindness, he warms up into the most loyal companion you could ask for. Sam is crate trained and mostly housebroken—just needs regular potty breaks. He still has so much love left to give.

And this is Gilles.
Pronounced “Gill-less,” this clever 4-year-old Jack Russell terrier is full of personality and heart. He’s incredibly smart, friendly, and playful. He’s also crate trained and mostly housebroken. Gilles just wants to be close to someone who will include him in life’s adventures—or even just cuddle time on the couch.

Right now, a wonderful couple has stepped up and taken them in, but with work and life keeping them constantly busy, these two boys are often left alone—cooped up, waiting for attention and affection they’re desperately missing.

They need more. They deserve more.

Please consider opening your heart and home to one (or both) of these sweet pups. Let’s honor their late owner by making sure Sam and Gilles don’t spend their golden and vibrant years in limbo. They’ve already lost their person—let’s not let them lose their spirit too.
